Wembley

I agree - and I would have thought anyone present at our victory in the 2nd Division play off final at the Millennium stadium in Cardiff would too. What an incredible day (a class finish from Darren Byfield to win it too)! There were only 15,000 or so of our fans there - but what passion and noise! Yes Wembley in the tin pot cup was a damp squib - but I’m sure this would be different.

My first game was the February after Cardiff, so other than seeing us win the league at Swindon (I never went to Notts County promotion game), I’ve got very little in the way of memories like that.

But surely after 18 years without a promotion everyone must want to see the game that could see us go up!

Really bad memories sent round and round the ground on a coach in appalling traffic jam by stupid stewards who didn’t have a clue 80mins stuck on a coach ruined whole meet up with friends and family.then the non performance.would have to think long and hard before I visit that crappy stadium again .

Yes I would be there.

I agree the stewards are especially useless, and the traffic is ridiculous.

Last couple of times I’ve been (Newcastle), we left the bus in Watford town centre and got the train in for that very reason. Drink in Watford spoons until as late as possible for £2 quid a pint.

I’m near to Gibraltar but either is fine

Cardiff was a brilliant day, Wembley was a crap day.

Two different occasions though, and if it was a choice between a cup or promotion it’s a yes from me for the promotion but a no for a cup game, unless that is we we’re to get to another final then I may have to reconsider…

Thank me after !!

Expect a bumper away gate should we get to Wembley of between 10-12,000. Unfortunately I’m away on a cruise with Terry Butcher when the game is played so I expect Everton Andy will take my ticket.

We’d take about 7000 + however many daytrippers from local clubs fancy a day out. Should ban Villa fans, especially after our last visit to Wembley. Nobbers.

They may be wembled out by then

Hopefully just the one visit.

Hell yes!! Any chance to see the Saddlers at Wembley should not be missed! If we were there, and won, how would I feel if I’d missed such an historical event? No, I’m going if it happens. See you there?!
