I have been reflecting on all of this and I think you can justify the rise in the early bird tickets on the basis they have been too cheap for too long. I think this season I only need to go to 11 matches to be in pocket over those who pay on the gate. That differential is too big and used to be around 7 or 8 games. If what they are doing is restoring that differential I don’t think we can quibble too much.
The other prices increases are excessive and the more sensible approach would have been an increase around the current inflation rate.As I posted yesterday just refrain from buying and the prices will soon fall.
Addictions are bad for your health, as fans we should know.
Lol.
Another painful watch today. With no signs of improvement whatsoever. If. anything we are. Going backwards.
Could well finish below last seasons 16th under this shambles.
The business model is built on sand. Plus 5 k attendances willing to turn up and week in week out, increased prices oh and a hefy dividend for the Trivela investors. Dosnt really stack up does it
You’re just making it up now. Or are you an investor?
Lol. Dont think you understand the business model
Anyone know if the club is doing a framed photo of the ground during the Barrow game?
Fixed that for you.
Thanks Out of Touch Tim
Wasn’t in the Railway today but saw the new badge you have out - make sure you save me one of them Olly!
Don’t be silly it will be on VHS knowing the morons running this club
Can only hope this isn’t Trivela and its the usual morons peddling this crap but they’ve been here long enough so it probably is them completely clueless.
I’ve put one aside for you mate
Buy it or move on with your life.
Commenting on an expensive training top is one thing but IMHO pouring over and obsessing over notebooks and drawstring bags says more about the person doing it than the club.
Your time on this planet and with your family is finite and you want to spend part of it obsessively tracking the price and quality of a Walsall FC drawstring bag?
The price hikes in the shop seem to be part of wider measures though? Surely it’s important that as fans we are able to call out the club when we believe they have overstepped the mark or misread the room. All that’s happening here is lots of examples of overpriced merchandise, which will probably put people off buying and then further reduce our revenue streams.
What’s wrong with calling that out?
Dan dow like it.
Comment of the day
Thank you!!!
I think this shows that they don’t quite ‘get it’, but that’s kind of understandable considering they are Americans with very limited experienced of lower league English football.
No doubt they noticed the excitement about the Leicester game, the sell out crowd, and thought this was a good product to put out there. This shows they don’t understand the fanbase.
There was so much excitement because we’ve had next to nothing to get excited about for the last 15 years! It wasn’t really anything to do with the specifics of the match itself. It was only Leicester after all and we lost 1-0. I doubt many Walsall fans will ever speak of that game again in six months time. The club seem to think it was one of the greatest days in our history…
Take off the reference to the game and take off the sponsors, and you have a nice photograph of the Bescot with a capacity crowd. I wouldn’t pay £35 for it, but maybe some people would.
The people left over from the old regime, who theoretically understand the fanbase, should be advising Trivela on this stuff and providing the local knowledge, but then again these are the same people who’ve overseen years of steady decline…
