Looks like we’ve got a car full (5), been a long time since we last went. First time I went was Alan Buckley debut back in August ‘73!
I have my hot cake
Hanging in the queue at this very moment
I’m playing golf so bought it on the e-ticket site save messin’ about
Two tickets bought
Well I’m sure 99.9% of Walsall fans can go 90 minutes without a drink .if you can’t I’m sure alcoholics anonymous will be in the phonebook.
Was on-hold for an hour until I finally broke and paid the online ransom fee.
The thing is Andy, If they had enough staff in the office to to make it a quick smooth transaction they would need to start charging a surcharge to pay for the extra staff.
Just bought mine from the ground.
Three people in front of me in the queue.
Also bought a Crewe ticket.
There are some clubs who charge a fee for using the office but free if you do it online.
Not complaining about the ticket office staff - obviously they are very busy today both on the phone and in-person callers at the window. I just hate paying the surcharge when it’s going into Ticketmaster’s pocket not the club’s.
I’m going down the ground in a bit, getting both Wrexham and Crewe
I thought we had more odd season ticket holders than that.
Would so like to stick one on these arrogant ***** … Phil Parkinson: Wrexham can follow Luton's path to Premier League says Wrexham boss - BBC Sport
Got mine - all good. Be really interesting to see if these make it to general sale. As I say above, I suspect not. With phone lines jammed it does appear to be an attractive one.
First four away games in my general area. Costing me a fortune it is. Hopefully over 1,000 to each of the league games. All OK trips and there’s that August whiff of optimism knocking around too.
I’d be a bit surprised if we don’t sell all our tickets for this. Although those of us of a certain age will have had plenty of chances to visit Wrexham, there is a generation of Saddlers for whom this will be the first time we have played there.
Got my 4 with 2 seperate ST. I asked the lady at the ticket office how they were going and she said they’re flying out faster than Morecambe. But i got there, no queue and the phones weren’t ringing either. Also got my Crewe tickets as well
Won’t sell out though @Gensanx123
I didn’t bother trying to get through on the phone and instead went to the ground which to be fair only had a queue of three people so it didn’t take long.
I had a text message saying Crewe had come up too so I had to purchase three lots of tickets.
On a positive I have the away games sorted for August so happy days (I hope).
Pleased if we do sell out but as comments above most fans of an older generation will have been to Wrexham many times and this isn’t a big game. For where Walsall sit currently this is as huge as it gets. A bit sad to be honest for us older ones. For the young uns. Go enjoy
I hope we get an update from the club at close of business today.
I have a disproportionate love of away ticket sales updates.
