It somehow sums up the season and Keates’ management perfectly that the co-commentator is our third right back, who was one of those signed in the transfer window and hasn’t seen a minute of football action.

You go on like we’re getting hammered but we’re literally not. Two poor teams in a scrappy game so far. Wycombe aren’t very good but neither are we.

Watching on ifollow. Not bad (relatively speaking) at all. Good shape and a couple of chances. Bit more belief and aggression in the final third and we could get a result.

This is actually a bit better than recent weeks. Don’t get me wrong, it still isn’t very good but it is better.
They’ve had slightly the better chances thanks to Akinfenwa’s presence but we’ve had our moments too.
I wonder if it stays like this whether Cook and either Ismail or Blackett-Taylor will come on to try to take advantage of the energy sapped defenders.
Oh and in a team that has been leakiness personified it is baffling why Johnson was frozen out of the 18 for so long and why the apparently competent Dunn hasn’t been used before to give Roberts a break.

Rather dull first 45 minutes. Not much to add, quality is still missing. Dunno how to score, doesn’t look there are players, who can create something, except of course long ball. Side note, many offensive throws ins, but only one shot on target.
No team changes to start the 2nd half.
