AFC Wimbledon (A) November 23rd, 3pm

Shit 1st half from both sides, but we have some side here boys and girls cos that 2nd half is proof of the quality in defending and attacking we have, great result and a statement result for me in the conditions the fact they are hard to beat at home UP THE FOOTBALL LEAGUE WE GO

The 3-1 and 4-1 results are great but if your going to challenge beating a few side well is a given, but it is results like today that turn challengers into promotion winning sides.

These lads are fantastic and such a bunch of nice lads as well, or perhaps because they are. The spirit and togetherness across the whole of the club and fan base hasn’t been anywhere near like this since the times of Graydon.

There is not one player out there I can look at and feel he doesn’t care as much about the club as I do.

I think that goes right throughout the team, nothing radical between them with slightly different offerings if picked. We are reaping the rewards.

Ive said it before but it really is amazing what can happen when you have got a squad of players all pulling together in the same direction. An utter joy to watch.

Try listening a little harder.

Harry is Ropes Mark II to me. Same stengths, same weaknesses, but exactly what you need at this level. And very possibly the level above.

Ive not seen it mentioned on the thread - please correct me if im wrong , but did anyone else notice the shot that they claim ’ hit the post’ actually hit the stanchion behind the goals and bounced back onto the pitch.
Play just carried on.
Now im in my 60s, with failing eyesight but I clocked it at the time
What were the officials doing ??

maybe it was my eyes - -lol
It think it hits the bar

Delighted with 3 points - not many teams will achieve that at Wimbledon.
The way the first half was panning out I thought we would concede some sort of sloppy goal so was glad to be level at half time. Our goal was lovely and the timing of Lowe when making his run to make sure he was in the right place at the right time was perfect.
I would like us to be better at clearing crosses into the box. For their corners we always seem to be scrambling to get the ball clear after a bit of ping pong in the area. Also, the quality of ball into the box from our corners/free kicks should be a lot better.
Again the second half performance was far better than the first.
UP THE SADDLERS

Always love how the adverts have a crystal clear picture with Sky on my mobile but when it comes to the highlights I’m lucky to be above 144p resolution. Still great to watch even in that blurry picture
