I bet the players are dusting themselves down, they will work hard and be proud of being just where they want to be.
Incremental progress is now getting rid . He’s like a forward that can get into good postions, but is a hopeless finisher. He’s shown us that twice in three months.

If the club dont change tact on their ambition or lack of it, the supporters will stop coming. They got lucky this season but patience is wearing thin. Telling us that this is progress will alienate so many people.

I think the crowds will be back down to 4-5,000 again next season, what a wasted opportunity to give the club and fans a boost. I reckon we have thrown away at least £500,000 by missing out on promotion.
Totally echo your thoughts. Just turned and left at the final whistle with my 2 lads. Even they just seem apathetic. This is what we all feared and probably expected.

Not one of those will have any interest in Walsall and League 2 next season. Maybe Liam Bennett but we have 2 RWB contracted already.

I’ve always been loud and proud! Now I feel ashamed and embarrassed! Supporting Walsall is like having a toxic girlfriend every year! I just haven’t got the strength anymore

Shocking never turned up really and what looked like the best season we’ve had for years has ended up being the biggest bottle job you’ll ever witness again in your lives.They won’t sack Sadler but they should.Safe journey home everyone who travelled.

Money or not they wouldn’t want to come here. Better getting players like pre-jan Jellis, Barrett and a Lowe-esque loan.
Connor Barrett was better than Bennett (pre-jan) anyway.
Too dejected and depressed to give an objective assessment of our on the pitch performance.
I loved the atmosphere and thought our fans were excellent. So were the Wimbledon fans to be fair.
I hope we get to experience something like this again soon. UTS.

My kids and grandkids didn’t want to come. I think the are much more sensible and intelligent than me. They used to be season ticket holders. Incremental in seeing things as they are type of progress.
“That wasn’t meant to be” comment in poor judgement is up there with Wrexham 50:50 scarves in terms of poor judgement. Heaps more derision on club.
