Looking at the table, a lot depends on Doncaster v Wimbledon on Saturday.
If Wimbledon win we can lose and be no worse of than now , still in 3rd with Donny 2 pts behind but with a game in hand, and Wimbledon closing the gap to 1pt on the same played.
If Wimbledon win and we draw we’re then 3pts ahead of Donny and that negates the game in hand, and Wimbledon are then 2pts behind.
If Wimbledon win and we win, then we’re 5 ahead of Donny and 4 ahead of Wimbledon
If they draw, then a draw for us will keep it at as you were, with Donny having the game in hand. A win for us with the draw for them again negates the game in hand, putting us 4pts ahead Donny.
Essentially as long as Donny don’t win we have a chance to improve our position, even with a draw.
We’ll know better what’s needed after both Bradford and Donny/Wimbledon start early.
Mainly though we need a win, a draw would be ok but the win to keep the pressure on Donny is really it.
Think we will win, not sure why or how, just that it will be typical of Walsall to do so.
I’m in Manchester on the lash to see OCS/Kula Shaker so will probably avoid looking at scores just in case
Hoof our way to a 0-0.
This a must win for us at this stage of the season. We have to find some way of turning this around, Sadler has to take chances with the team selection. It’s time to be brave and go for it.
UTS
If we can’t win a few games in this awful division , then we don’t deserve to go up!!
Must win
This is the point
What Mazza said
Where abouts in East Midlands can you get too? 4 of us in the car but if your a small person I might be able to get you in the motor
Ellis Harrison available for Saturday
Hmmm.. I think I prefer Amantchi to Harrrison? He looks gangly and uncomfortable on the ball but is so direct and pushes defences back..
I’d play them both. Both are better than Matt.
Agreed. I would start Harrison and Amanchi.
Yeah Levi actually has mobility, which we really miss without Lowe.
Harrison done ok, but not loads more mobile than Matt who will amost certainly start.
I think that Josh Gordon could pop up with a goal if he’s fit: isn’t it the law to score against your former club?
It is, but we are talking Josh Gordon here.
Have sent you a DM👍
1-3.
The wheels are back on for the charge to League One!
Go reds go!
I have a spare adult ticket if anyone needs one, but would probably have to meet outside the ground.
I’m off to the Lake District tomorrow afternoon and was going to get tickets for this but after the recent results there is no way I am going. I will try to resist looking at the score until it is over as I don’t want to spoil my day.
I had to laugh at Sadler’s pre game interview…
When asked if it’s a good headache to have with a fully fit squad and 3/4 players per position he agreed and said it’s ’good to have options’
…. Despite playing his favourites and not rotating
