Leahy is included in the term ‘defence’. Make of that what you will, but like i said, I’ve heard a couple at least are on over £2k basic.

It’s a disgrace that Whitney gave out these contracts and the board let it happen.
Why else do you think we haven’t got back up full backs? We can’t waste our meagre budget when so much of it is spent on two players. It’s really ridiculous.

I reckon Whitney got desperate and in an effort to make sure he got them overspent.
I remember he used phrase ‘good contracts’ or ‘good money’ when he signed new and shining defence line. Maybe that’s why summer clearing was so minimal.
Portsmouth were paying him £7k with us paying him £3k per week.

I’ve never been to one of these forums before so a bit unsure how they pan out. Can you just rock up and get in? Is there a limit of how many can enter?

All welcome at 7pm at the Stadium Suite according to the official site, with their customary less-than-one-weeks-notice to an event they can barely bother to organise more than once a year. I suppose we should take that up with our highly regarded and massively visible representatives on the working party group.

Re Merson:- he was on £9K per week. Milan Mandaric paid £6K of it and Pete Waterman £3K.

Ok guy’s let’s get serious, on attending the focus meeting on monday NOBODY on here that agrees with the protests buy ANYTHING from the bar, and if you know anyone attending then try and persuade THEM not to, as @Dhforever has posted on another thread, why should we support him while trying to protest against him?

No purchases inside the Stadium on Monday, and no purchases on match days either. It’s a small start.
