Bradford City (H) - Sat 27th Feb, 3pm

I agree it’s not much to ask.

He appointed one and none of us or any players appeared to like him.

Agree on the change of attitude across the board though.

Whitney? I wouldn’t say he was a ball-breaker, he was another face that fitted, another yes man, another easy appointment.

We’ve got some.

Rose is a very competent L2 keeper, and Roberts has done well the last few games.

The defenders are basic, but adequate if they are organised properly.

The midfield is a big issue, but we should be able to fashion an adequate div 4 arrangement once Holden is fit.

Up front we are short on quality, but Wright, Lavery, and a Gordon that isn’t doing his wandering headless-chicken impression should be capable of fashioning more than a shot a game at this level.

Orient have sacked their manager this evening.

Just wondering when he will do something to get us out of freefall I don’t think Dutton is the answer, he just seems like DC lite

Just by luck a few teams below us lost or else the table would have been even worse this eveningTable 27.02.21

Can’t agree. White is poor. Scarr is non league. Sadler is past his sell by date, as he was when we signed him. CCM just isn’t going to make the grade. Clarke’s no better when he’s fit he’s immobile.

The only two who’ve looked adequate are Norman and Melbourne. We have serious serious issues at the back.

Upfront is a massive issue now. Wright is a classy player but he’s playing with some right guff.

I agree our defence would be fine enough but there is pressure on them because we cant score. Our strikers cant even control a ball, nor can they win headers. Jayden Reid is probably a better option than Osei but hes been locked in a cupboard or summat. They don’t fashion shots, because they cant trap a landmine, other sides when they are under the cosh, their players might go past someone and have a go from 25 yards occasionally. Ours are just dross.

We would be drawing our way to mid table could we score. I know we got one today but it was a set piece, you cant rely on them.

Bit harsh having a go at Roberts again today, not sure if Rose is much better in the grand scheme.

Agreed Josh was absolutely terrible today the ball bounced off him he was constantly fouling defenders a sign of impatience, that Canavan was facing his own keeper at one stage in right trouble and Josh gave him a get out of jail card shocking.Lavery apart from the recent goals has been very poor and Wes my word what’s happening to him recently he’s throwing some right shockers in let the lot go and spend their wages on someone who wants to be here.

Darrell " ill cut him off at the knees " Clarke.

Who Just turned out to be a massive ■■■■■■■■.

I have to disagree there W1. The club know the situation with respect to contracts. We stand every chance if we give longer contracts to young players we believe can go on to better things.
If we don´t believe that they can, then don´t sign them.

Don’t buy that Walsallone.

If at the start of the season Adebayo had been given an improved deal I’m sure we would have signed it.

Smallsall fc.

Not sure who’s had a go at Roberts.

Rose has looked better in my opinion.

We could undoubtedly draw our way out of this mess. That’s why we need a manager and a method.

We are currently engendering that feeling in the stomachs of every fan that has ever seen its team get relegated…we don’t create chances, and we can’t keep a clean sheet.
You can create and miss chances and lose games but the fact that chances are created is a huge positive that might ultimately churn out a few wins. OR you can be poor creatively and still eek out results by dint of defensive solidity and nicking the odd win. This team is doing the tell tale neither, its a recipe for disaster.

Vincent’s ommision (after a few good games and signs of being a quality player that we lack is bombed from the SQUAD)
Norman is not selected over White
The constant chopping and changing
The benching of Lavery

Four simple signs Dutton is out of his depth

Roberts seems to have pulled his finger out lately, which was my point, but ill admit the GK position is wide open.

I dont disagree we are a bit “not one or the other” but another manager would be the same in my eyes. Its gonna be a bumpy road to the end of the season, sacking Dutton achieves nothing. Personally i think we are good enough to get a few wins to finish above 18th or so. Which is ■■■■, but we go again in the summer. I like the passing, and i like the 3 at the back. Its our best way forward.

In essence, i still maintain the recruitment has been shocking. Its poor year after year. Like we just pick from a list of ■■■■ no one else wants…

Sooner 1+1 contract, in club’s favour. I think he needed to be signed longer after last season, but you know, I know nothing about football. For me he looked promising and worth to gamble. For someone, who decided about it, not.

Infact when Holden is fit, im not adverse to your idea of playing Wright up front.

We might be better off not bothering with strikers.

I was really pleased to see the starting line up today. It looked a balanced 442 with square pegs in square holes, perhaps for the 1st time this season. Certainly I would have picked Norman over White and possibly Lavery over Derek but nevertheless.

But then reality hit. Derek isn’t playing as a centre forward. He’s so deep it’s basically a 3rd centre midfield player. Not surprisingly they’re seems to be little chance of us threatening. Although the “class act” Wright could have opened his account.

2nd half begins with the latest “project” of a complete change of system. Wright and CCM get shoved out as wing backs, neither of which have the tools to perform those roles.

2nd goal goes in. And the latest “project” is launched. We manage to score a scrappy goal but never look like drawing level.

Brian Dutton needs to leave Walsall FC. He’s DC in disguise without the ego.

FTFY.

Sorry but I and most other fans saw Ade as a trier but nothing else at the start of the season. In fact he was more like a comedy turn at the end of last season who fell over his own feet rather than anything else.
You with respect have no better information than everyone else about contract offers to Ade.
To get a decent fee for him in January in our financial position with him not willing to sign a Contract was regrettably good business at that point for the Club.
There were no guarantees that Ade would provide a route to promotion or indeed anything else for that matter.
