Stirk imo has been poor for a while now

Don’t care about Bromley, they’ve not exactly played total Football.

Brilliant point after being down and out, and keeps the momentum going.

Lucky I suppose to get a point. But we never gave up and that attitude will be invaluable to us over the course of the season UTS

Needs freshening up on Saturday. Restore H at the back. Give DJ a chance up front. Think Sads will go Albert with lowey though. Was always going to be difficult tonight against a really physical team but credit where it’s due to get a point is something we definitely wouldn’t have in the last few seasons

Great point , lucky tho, but that never say die attitude and luck along the way , this season is going our way and it’s been along time coming ,not playing the best but grinding something out that’s the making of this team , missed Jellis first half ,I must say the few times Johnson had come on he looks an more sharper mobile player but he’s down the pecking order now.

How Matt has had the amount of minutes he’s had compared to what DJ has had is beyond me . The one thing I just don’t get about Sadler .

No need to be rude I’m entitled to my opinion. In the games I have seen i think he has been slowly especially facing our own goal under pressure

Because they were land of the giants and he helps a tonne defensively on set pieces. That is the main reason why.

Not saying I agree with it, but that is the thinking behind it.

Think we’ve been pretty Easy to manage up to now way results have gone and performances but I think from here on in Sadler is going to find things are going to get tougher and big calls are going to have to be made by him .Earing and Hall together didn’t work for me one or the other + Jellis .

I’m sure Bromley were glad they did all that timewasting at throwins and free kicks. :joy::woozy_face:

Just said in our group chat when people are saying Matt shouldn’t play, until we have another forward with his strength, ability to hold it up, win free kicks and his general presence then he plays. DJ and Lowe wouldn’t work, we’d have to change the way we play and this has worked up to now.

Somebody on here summed it up perfectly - if you can’t win then don’t lose. You’re not going to be 100% every game, so if you’re going to have a successful season you need to rescue points like we did tonight.

Defence seemed completely out of sorts - Taylor Allen had a poor game which left Gordon under pressure. Would prefer to see Harry Williams back in the side once he’s fit, but not sure Sadler will drop Daniels - but don’t forget the two crucial tackles DD pulled off which prevented certain goals.

Another point towards the total - and isn’t it nice for us to get the last second injury time goal for a change!

Excellent point in the end. A very good sign to get something from a game we deserved to lose.

Actually feel quite upbeat.

Appreciate the need to rest player’s but we looked disjointed.

Tonight ok but was talking generally . DJ is so much sharper with the ball and a different league as a finisher as we know

Lucky to get a point being honest I thought we were miles off it tonight worst we’ve played since Fleetwood.

Bad performance by this season’s standards, but it would have been an average one over most of the previous five. And doubtful we’d have got that equaliser .
