I honestly think he will always be the ■■■■ we think he is mate, he will never change, and he will always put money and his self before the club or supporters unfortunately
Bonser stands to lose most financially if the club folds. Im sure he has already realised this.
I actually think he would step in if the club was seriously under threat - his motivation for doing so would naturally be questioned though (his reputation precedes him!)
I can’t commit to a season ticket, due to work commitments, but I randomly purchased a WFC scarf online, just to throw a few quid in the pot.
I’d like to think so, but I doubt it. Under the Bonser model “Directors loans” I.e his loans would have increased by a few hundred grand to see us through and we’d have still shown the miracle profit. But now he isn’t a director I think he’ll be smirking the old “be careful what you wish for” routine.
And btw - I never saw his loans as benevolence. They were just a vehicle to keep the real estate investment pumping cash into the pension.
