Is this satire? Aside from his goal against Cheltenham, his dribbling and pace he has shown he is good enough through his movement and vision to get in the right places.
Tonight he didn’t effect the game to the same standard as Jamma had but that in isolation doesn’t mean he has proven he is not good enough…
I’d say he has shown potential to be good enough at least, he may be quality in time…
Outstanding critical thinking…
Just to help you.
There’s an obvious difference between saying ‘they bottled it there’ and calling them ‘bottlers.’
The first (obviously) refers to a single moment where they failed under pressure (like conceding two injury-time goals), while ‘bottlers’ suggests a consistent pattern of choking and a general term for the team.
I was talking about that specific moment tonight, not making a sweeping statement about the team. Misrepresenting what I said.
Are you still a bit unsure or feel a bit stupid when you read that back ?
See below. Just to help you and others out.
Pissed off.
But not pissed off.
Why didn’t Sadler make a sub on the 92nd min to kill the game? Barrett had knocked it out in the far corner. Boycott should make them all walk home.
A few bungalow comments on here, tonight…
And there may have been other reasons why he chose not to. I agree with you it seemed the sensible choice, Jamie does have a decent tackle in him though, Gordon has been really good defensively recently, I’m not sure it’s as easy as we think it is to get the player warmed up, brought on for Cheltenham to just switch the player… But it might be
Once Albert scored his goal I may well have brought on Johnson for Connor and gone for a third! But that kind of cavalier attitude gets you relegated, and it’s easy to say stuff from the sidelines!
Arguably the most ludicrous comment ever made on this forum
does your wife know you’re getting antsy on the UTS forum pal
Thanks for the help.
No problemo - here to help.
And fine them 4 weeks wages
I’m not the one upset over a throwaway comment - amongst a lot of folk who are pissed off we managed to somehow draw that game.
I can guess how you all voted for in recent elections
This should be in the Oxford English Dictionary as the definition for “squirm”
assuming you didn’t travel to tonight’s game then
Why do you think I’m so annoyed ?
as we all are mate - your needless comments really don’t justify the performance tonight, though
What needless comments ?
