Cheltenham Town (A) Feb 25th, 7.45pm kick-off

Maybe a ritual disembowelling too?

Thanny wants the team that’s won 20 out of 33 league games and 7 cup wins against higher league opposition to “develop a winning mentality”.

No there isn’t, bottling things is what bottlers do. If you bottle things you are by definiton a bottler. There isn’t a “bottler” or if you prefer, because it suits your back-scuttling semantics - any Walsall player in this season that’s bottled anything - in this team.

You chose the words post match, and you were wrong and arguably out of order (although you are thoroughly entitled to your opinion).

Goodnight, and lets hope that by this time next week we have 6 more points on the board, and you’ve matured enough to at least admit you were out of order somewhat.

I hate it when we win !draw !lose ! .:face_with_raised_eyebrow:

This might be banter, so forgive me if I don’t get it but what’s that got to do with anything, or is it a nod to a topic away from football I’m ignorant of?

Ever reflected on your posts and noticed illusory superiority traits?

All that over me saying they ‘bottled it there’—for conceding two injury-time goals? The word ‘there’ is key, and it makes your entire argument irrelevant. I commented on a single moment, not the team as a whole. No backtracking, just basic English.

History tells us another 13/14 points (with our GD) will get us promoted, 1 point per game.

What superiority? By saying ‘bottled it there’

Are people for real? Jesus Christ - what a waste of time.

Lots of semantics on here tonight. And I am virulently anti-semantic

I think the point was that right wingers are the most likely to get really upset over very very trivial things.

We don’t play with right wingers do we is Colin Askey back

I did enjoy that though :joy:

Regardless of where we were on 89 mins I would have taken a point from tonight’s game, we scored a couple of iffy goals as did Cheltenham Town… all’s fair…move on to the next battle #UTS

Sure you meant battle, not bottle?

No not that, it’s a football opinion and common parlance, I disagree but understand your point, your threaders and it’s a bit of a drive home…

I’m on about;

Weird to project that on people from comments on a football forum. Thought someone of your intelligence would be above sweeping generalisations… Unless you have a small degree of illusory superiority…

This really is satire now seriously!

What a load of rubbish.

I think that’s me done.

Ok Nigel / Georgia / Victor.

Mat Sadler that was a truly clueless second half from you.

To not freshen up the midfield or full backs who were dead on their feet was so naive.

Levi on the pitch is very much like Josh Gordon. Isn’t going to win first balls. Isn’t going to bring people in to play. Isn’t going to help us retain it unless he carries it. Clearly obvious why he couldn’t get a kick elsewhere. Seems like an honest hard working pro but we are top of the league we have ambitions. He isn’t the finished product we need more.

Lucky to come away with a point from that one. I thought we looked very vulnerable all night. Sift touches. Not switched on.

If you think Levi’ s the answer to Jamma you’re way off he offers nothing and I’ve seen live every time

Lets put things into perspective.

Just seen a video on Tiktok, only 2 teams since 2018 (FGR and Cheltenham) have had the same or 1 point more than us at this stage of the season.
