Match thread…
It will be tough but we can do it. 2-0.
Ok we have the return of Mr Flynn, it’s possible that Kinsella might be back if nobody comes in for him and of course Owen Evans between the sticks to play a blinder, what could possible go wrong.
Need the win to keep the momentum up especially at home, expect them to play more like Tranmere rather than the two league one teams we have faced so the question is can we break them down
Might be a long afternoon unless we get an early goal but we can do it
Oh forgot about George Millers return to Walsall too
If we can win this one, (knowing that Flynn will probably make it as hard as possible rather than make a game of it) then at least we can show that we’ve learned from Tranmere parking the bus and time wasting and moved forward.
Flynn gonna make this a really hard game… i can see a loss even though ive put a draw… we will have 30 shots and lose 1-0 with miller having only shot on target for them and kinsella making a goalline clearance 93rd minute
Wrong section for this thread @simon?
Whoops.
Flynns an idiot, Evans has butter fingers and Liam Kinsella is a National League midfielder at best, so surely a walk over …
Liam Kinsella doesn’t get in the matchday 18 and has been transfer listed.
I was being facetious, but maybe just a draw then …
I wonder if Flynn will actually shake Sadler’s hand this time? There was a bit of a to do last time they met when Flynn was at Swindon wasn’t there?
The Cheltenham viewpoint

Lets hope that thread is in full meltdown mode by Saturday evening.
Think Cheltenham may be a bit posh for a proper meltdown. Look forward to lots of tutting though.
Their fans will be entitled to sing “Walsall’s a shit hole, I wanna go home”
might have to join in with them
Would be great to win to keep a bit of momentum going. Think it’ll be a draw (which wouldn’t be the end of the world)
As the old saying goes one in the hand is worth two in the bush and I think three points are very much on offer on Saturday.
It will be intriguing to see who Sadler selects, with the belt and braces approach to recruitment he very much has a squad high on quality and in form, an embarrassment of riches if you will and plenty played their way into contention with important contributions yesterday evening.
It’s lovely that already on Wednesday evening I am counting down the hours to Saturday afternoon and making my way to my allocated seat at twenty to three to get whipped up into a frenzy by the PA and watch the boys put on another hugely impressive display, long may it continue. As I said on the match thread last night, something special is happening down there at the moment, so tell your friends, tell your framily, tell your colleagues and lets get another bumper audience to witness (hopefully) prime Sadball.
How many?
Is Kinsella still with them? Haven’t seen his name pop up this season so far.
He is but he’s transfer listed.
