Comley in for Stirk.

Or Stirkley + Earing as a more solid but less creative midfield trio?

Think that huge loss will destroy us and be to much for us to get over so soon
3-0 chesterfield

Time to show character after a big loss :crossed_fingers:

The thought of facing Paddy Madden and Will Grigg especially after conceding 6 goals in the week is very worrying. I would take 0-0 draw now to help steady the ship.

I am going for a 1-1 scoreline. There will not be a repeat of Tuesday. That was completely out of character for this team.

Them pair won’t be pressuring our defence like Fleetwood did

Fleetwod had a very athletic front line who were very good players and a couple of very good midfielders for this level.
They will be there or there abouts come the end of the season if they hold onto them come January.
Saturday will be a different test completely with 2 ageing forwards with not so much energy but with more experience and know how .
Really don’t know what to expect from us tbh After the crushing defeat on Tuesday. But I hope we put in a decent performance and hopefully come back with 1 maybe 3 points the bag which would show that this team has something about them and can react positively after such a defeat and Sadler will go up in my opinion.
Despite what happened against fleetwood im looking forward to this and a new stadium. UTS

Logic dictates this has 0-0 or 1-1 written all over it

But the feeling in the Kidney stones is strong this evening so a resounding

We’ve got this

A bounce back victory for the ages in the shadows of Saltergate.

Enjoy the day

All about whether this team has the menral strength needed to deal with the adversity you will enevitably face from time to time over a season.

I say yes they do, have every faith in them, we will either get a narrow win or at least our first draw feom this one.

Would take a point today, three would be fantastic.

3-1 loss today

Any decent away pubs?

Can’t see anything from this but a 0-1 defeat.

Lookimg at the chesterfield website it looks like away friendly pubs are.

Red Lion
Derby Tub
Donkey Derby

In the unlikely event that any saddler over the age of 65 is passing through Hull I have a free ticket.
Besides the zubrowska vodka in Krakow duty free on Thursday I have also brought home a chest infection.
Gutted. Was really looking forward to this.
Should guarantee a cracking game and a win though.

Cheers

Nay worries chaps. All will be good.
