Chesterfield (A) - League Two - Sat 5th Oct, 3.00pm

I think it would have been wrong for Sadler to have suddey dropped a couple of players after just 1 bad game. If that were the case there would be at least 7 changes today after Tuesday. No point overreacting to what was just hopefully a blip.

I am sure there will be a few out there today who know they will need to up their game after Tuesday. Will be a good test of character today to see if we can bounce back and will also see if our mindset is a strong as Sadler keeps on telling us that the players have.

Only by daft people

Suprised Dave is still in he is shocking
Interesting to see simkins reaction and how he handles the pressure
Feel for some of the reserves as sadler obviously has his favourites and players like Johnson will never get a go

Paddy Madden on the bench for Chesterfield.

We need a lwb to challenge Gordon as he can play however crap he wants and he will always start. Must be very comfortable

Not completely surprised by the line up, Sadler wasn’t going to, and in my opinion shouldn’t “drop” players after one poor defeat.

I would argue there is a difference between “dropping” players and refreshing the first XI, that would be my only concern as we looked leggy on Tuesday.

I’ve watched Dave make countless errors last season and this , he borders on being a liability at times .

Would have much preferred the presence of Daniels in that position.

Hope Dave has a blinder today but it’s a risk

Wouldn’t be surprised if DD doesn’t get on at some point, depending how the game goes.
Chucking him straight in after not playing for ages is a bigger risk than starting Dave in my opinion.

I agree RCB is not the best position for either of them. We need McEntee back quickly. I wonder if the new signing could do a job for us there.

Uncle Albert must have dropped his wages when he popped in for a pre match Merson stye pint

Be a good samaritan and pop them into the ticket office for him when you get back to WS1 or alternatively see if you can catch his attention when the players are warming up

We have won 10 matches out of 14 this season. Not sure that says wholesale changes are needed.

Let’s hope he stays there

Either there is a big delay on the feed or the teams have decided a point each and gone off to the pub
15:56 (here) and no sign of them

Bit suprised Donny D didnt get the nod over Dave. But like others have said, you dont want to throw the baby out with the bath water, if incase it was just a blip. Plus last seasons Franchise game still haunts me… and DD too i guess.

Come on mi babiz!

Some call to go with basically an unchanged team.

Not sure it’s the right decision but I’ve been wrong already with numerous thoughts when I’ve seen a team selection at 2pm.

Apparently no away commentary and it is not being televised ( not sure what that means for you).

I’ve got it on saddlers+
Probably get it on the fire stick but I’m sitting outside watching it on my iPad
No commentary suits me

Dave for me is back up not someone at this stage in career first team selection .but saying that we don’t have a lot of options with doubts about match fitness and players out injured .
