I don’t know why being passionate means you have to spout nonsense. I can understand the disappointment when we are losing however

Ellis Harrison seems to be a great signing- and will hopefully be first choice alongside Jamma from here on in.

Just go get eight more wins on the spin and that should be it… U T S.

Meh, just explained given the context I don’t see it that way. Hardly a surprise a few were a bit concerned.

Not sure there’s any need for the baiting and I wasn’t even one of those posters. I was sure as shit concerned at 1-0 though, and sure as shit elated at 3-1 :man_shrugging:

The worrying thing for me was the way we were playing during that run. No energy, no creativity, very little threat going forward and jittery at the back. It wasn’t so much that we were losing, it was that we didn’t look much like winning. Today is massive.

Next two games are massive.

Gotta be beating the bottom two, even if they are away from home.

69 points with 15 games left, would mean a point per game should do it.

Three games Tuesday night involving Port Vale, Notts and Wimbledon - the way this season has gone for the chasing teams, I reckon at least one of them could drop points.

That must have been some half time team talk, feels like the wheels are back on.

Ok mate. I prefer some informed debate. But each to their own.

I didn’t mean to bait you, I didn’t think you had posted anything silly

Being a football fan is a passionate, irrational thing. There are a very small number of posters on here who seem to have an ulterior motive, but most of us just get caught up in the emotion and get very high with the highs and very low with the lows.

It’s the opposite of the Sadler approach

Favourite pastime for some I’m afraid both sides of the coin .personally love the emotional and passionate brigade again both sides of coin .thats why we come on here I thought .

These type of spells have happened before under Sadler and he turns it round without warning from past experience. It’s fine to be concerned (I was after Tuesday) but to call him clueless and some even questioning his job is a lack of respect in my opinion.

Biggest feeling after that is relief! Relief that we finally won again and relief that we played more like our old selves.

Even in the first half we looked better than the last few weeks, two massive goals for us eased some pressure and gave us confidence and from then we started winning second balls, pressed well, chased players down better.

Credit to Sadler too, the right subs at the right time.

Just got in - what a bloody second half that was…

Mightily relieved with a win but the players looked buzzing at the whistle too (as did MS…)

2 great corners for the first 2 goals and fantastic for 2 of the new lads to get on the scoresheet…

Ellis was my MOTM - his work rate was first class

I still maintain Connor needs a rest - MS needs to manage the situation professionally and give him a break…

Great relief to get the win after 5 games without one. Noticed that the games at Newport and Gillingham had a lot of time added; 8 and 9 minutes so maybe one of those days. We’ve got a week off now for the new boys to continue to gel and become integrated into the team. We have added power and pace with Harrison and Amanchi; the stuff you need in this league. I’m still not happy with our defensive record of late, conceding too many avoidable goals but I won’t criticise the effort and determination which is still there. We haven’t been so good at anticipation imho, something we were good at during our good run when we always seemed to something extra over the opposition. Hoping this will come back now and we can finish the job.

“In the last 15 minutes, I have got to be honest, I have never been as embarrassed watching my team, with no thought process of how to play football late on in the game. We just kept passing short, kept giving it away, we kept giving Walsall energy, instead of going up to Paddy (Madden) and getting people around him.”

This is funny to read as he kept shouting “be patient” to their team the latter stages of the game. Way to sell your team out.

Relief only comparable to the first piss after 5 pints of very bitter beer.

Thought the fans were excellent today, we shithoused the game against a decent team on the back of it.

Think people forget how a forum works and posts are often made at a point in time (often realtime) especially on a match thread.

Massive win that. Bloody froze but worth it. Sadler’s team talk must have done the trick. UTS.
