I would imagine it will be lower amount of points this season but a higher amount of points for the play offs
Nope, it’s defending people’s right to post what they feel, at that point in time.
As I said, easy to be a genius after the fact. You were right, debates going nowhere.
I stand by what I said
Delighted to win Ofcourse but 2 corners and a last second goal doesn’t make sadler a good tactician all lf a sudden
Still great result in the end and that’s what matters
And yet it seems you are upset at my right to post what I feel.
You are right, debates going nowhere. I don’t want to interact further with you which is difficult because you keep responding to me.
Upset? Not at all? Where did I say I was upset? In fact, where did I say you were upset? Let’s not be putting words in peoples mouths if we want “informed debate”, as it where.
I thought you said you know how a forum works?
Hey, it’s a great win. You wanted to bait people; I don’t get it. But we both think it’s a great win. As you said before, have a great evening
Harry Williams made two incredible tackles in the 1st half, one to bail out Stirk and the other when Allen lost the ball on the half way line.
1st half was dire, but the 2 quick goals gave us a lot of belief.
My MoM was Ellis Harrison. Did a lot of work and never let the defenders have time on the ball. Worked well with Matt. Glad Levi scored, but don’t think we should have taken both Matt and Ellis off. Levi has the presence but needs coaching.
Impressed with how we managed that last 10 minutes. Why didn’t Chesterfield hoof it up and keep us inder pressure?
Important win.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion and usually, not everyone agrees… That said mate - our league position indicates how good or bad our manager and team is (not the last half a dozen games or so…)
I get really frustrated at some of MS decisions too (I’m sure most of us do to an extent) but overall this season, it’s hard to knock his approach… tactically or otherwise…
Let’s all stick together, get this job done and get out of the horrible division - UTS
Absolutely drained after watching that. Felt like I’d played the 101 minutes myself!
After the first half performance I’d have happily taken a point but wow what a turnaround in the second half.
The energy and confidence came back and hopefully the blip is well and truly over now.
Love his passion and whilst recognising we’re a good side, he’s clearly upset with his players (won’t be a happy coach ride home will it…)
I think that’s a bit harsh. During our winning run we scored goals from corners and everyone was saying how good we and Sadler were.
Jaipur’s been cracked open, absolutely vital 3 points earned today and pleasing the two new gents scored.
Prayer room opened…3 points today…the boss upstairs does work in mysterious ways
That’s exactly what their manager said! I’ve always thought that too much store is put on possession statistics. Under Dean Smith, in the early years, we used to keep possession for fun but would end up having 4-5 shots per game: what is the point of that? The aim of the game is to create pressure and score goals.
Just got home. Voice has gone.
Terrible 1st half. One of the poorest this season Barrat is shot. Needs swapping. Absolutely abject at best.
Jellis on the other hand, what a inspiration.
Fought till the end. I love this club. I BELIEVE!
Dead right. And you have to win the corners in the first place.
Huge result, hopefully see another run start that sets us up for a relaxed run to picking up the title.
Thought Gordon was really good today and Jellis looked up for it it was bloody cold and the roof was leaking but I’ll take it for that win Chesterfield gave up second half their right back for our third
100% and we’ve done so well from corners in the first 25 games or so - the 2 goals today resembled many of those we’ve won so far this season - work hard, take corners with pace and accuracy…. Get in…
I just hope we’ve got our mojo back after today and we can push on from here

Also its a match thread. Its a minute by minute where emotions echo the feeling of the game.
I love us now, ask me how i felt 15mins in, i hated football and was ready to go home.
