Brilliant :joy:

There was a roar early in the 2nd half , I can’t actually remember at what stage , whether 1-1 or 2-1 but it took me back to being a kid at Fellows Park and cup runs - it was so loud … pure and absolute passion . Brought a tear to my eye of I’m honest - shows how much we all want this .

Unreal 2nd half from the players - total commitment and unbelievable energy .

Where do you sit?

I’ve never heard another manager berate his team for giving the opposition energy before. That’s a new one on me.

I was in the Family Stand today as had my wife and young son but geez there was some singing in there too !

The roar wasn’t after a goal , it was winning a throw or something - amazing

Bury finished in the tier 4 play offs in the 1992-93 season with 63 points.

Walsall currently have 63 points.

Yes it was only a 42 game league back in 1992-93, but let’s not let that stop me finding a reason to have a celebratory drink tonight.

Any other suggestions for mile stone celebrations for the remaining 15 games this season?

By the same token, we’ve conceded a few goals to corners and free kicks into the box, too. Great - and Oh, so necessary - win today. Good to see the “new” boys getting on the score sheet.
Let’s hope we can start another run now that will clinch promotion. And the title would be so nice after all the years of privation.

I think that but when WM virtually said as much to Mat Sadler, he said ‘We’ll see as relationships need to develop.’ I hope he doesn’t keep messing about with the front two as the relationship will never develop.

What a second half that was!

Thought Mcentee was immense when he came on.

Best Adomah cameo so far.

Delighted for Levi

But Harrison and Matt look like some partnership

Not everything was perfect and we have some really tired legs in that squad. Stirk, Barrett and Jellis in particular look very leggy. Jellis suspended next week which ultimately mightn’t be a bad thing. I’d be tempted to give him and Barrett the week off training this week, pick Adomah in RWB next Saturday and have them both firing on all cylinders for the run in.

Anyway - we can breathe a bit easier tonight!

Didn’t realise that was Levi’s first EFL goal. Congrats to him, what a moment it was too.
