I think Levi could be a real find.
Got something about him.

MS gets some shit for sticking old Albert up front, particularly last week when it didn’t work out for us. Today however, as in many games, it is a great call. Last 20 mins today were more like what we’ve got used to in seeing out a game when in front.

Massive win today - you could see that we found an extra yard of pace when that first goal went in.

Off home on Wednesday. Really enjoyed this week being able to watch the boys and meet up with fellow Saddlers

I agree

Back in the saddle got one foot in a stirrup.

Hopefully we’ve now put the slump behind us although I thought we were poor in the first half.
Second half was the saddlers that have been so good to watch this season.
Jamma giving yet another leaders performance and scoring a great goal.
Harrison was everywhere and for me he was motm. He’s going to be a fans favourite.
Levi got stuck in and got his reward.
I can now enjoy my weekend.

The loss of form has certainly helped the atmosphere. Good to hear this, especially coming from someone in the fam stand.

He just gave up :joy:
I thought the 2-2 draw at their place was a great result, especially after the loss to Fleetwood. This result was even more impressive and could prove to be so important.

On a separate note, never known a group of fans to be as bitter and twisted as Chesterfields. Generally gobbing off how shit we were on the way out from the ground, especially from moving cars/other side of train tracks where they obviously feel safe. They were obviously gutted they lost their cup final!

How high did he jump up to celebrate the second?

Big win today.

Less said about first half the better - we could and should have been two down, that was an awful miss.

So much better in second half. The injury to Williams saw McEntee get his chance and thought did well. Really like look of Harrison - reminded me of Don Goodman: just the way he’s all hustle and bustle and never truly looks like got ball under control.

Chance to get a few wins coming up - hopefully we can push on again.

A win after a slump is like pulling a 10/10 at the club after tapping out for ages.

Unreal! Thanks Mat and and the lads.

Buzzing and it’s 5 hours since it ended

One of em, on Facebook, reckoned that the 10 minutes added on was reasonable. Then, being inbred, added that the replacement 4th official was a chesterfield fan ffs. Not sure of the veracity, but I wished him pleasure in the playoffs if they somehow made it.

East Midlands, live up the Yorkshire rhyme with loads to spare
