It’s you
Thank you. All the other buttons work but not that one for me.
Is it mad that I’m looking at train prices for Wembley
Feels more like a ghost train to me.It was scary how we dropped off but hope has been restored these last two games just got to get the job done professionally now.
Yes. Ridiculously overpriced and very unreliable
Chesterfield sold out their away allocation in 4 minutes
To be fair the prices I looked at weren’t too bad, similar to what you will be able to get a coach for.
Trains are as you say, though, totally unreliable.
So did we technically, it just took time to serve everyone.
Isn’t it crazy? We all love football and love watching Walsall but we are almost dreading Friday.
Chesterfield will throw the kitchen sink at us in from the kick-off, just as Bristol City did at Bramall Lane last night. Let’s hope the home team comes through as it did in that case.
I think it’s just natural, i was dreading Sunday for a few days, got there and the nerves had gone and it turned out to be one of the best away days in recent history.
I think theirs was online only,
Their system probably works, I’d bet not ticketmaster, could be wrong though.
No mate, i did the same yesterday, but it’s £85 return from where i live, a rip off if you ask me.
I think Chesterfield let any season ticket holder purchase. First come first served so online would have been easier for them
The concern for me is our home form which hasn’t been very good for weeks. It’s obvious Chesterfield will give everything to get back into the game which as others have said makes that first goal hugely important.
Our last two games have seen improvement especially at the back and both resulted in clean sheets and victories.
We have a 2 nil lead, home advantage and the supporters playing their part, I’d rather have that than be playing away from home trailing two goals to nil after getting well beaten at home.
We seem to have turned a corner as we look to win three on the bounce. I hope we settle quickly because the longer we keep a grip on the game the better it will feel.
We went to their place on Sunday to play one of the form sides of the moment and against the odds prevailed, we’ve done it once we can do it again.
Just gotta hit them on the break, need pace but he will play same team
We’ll end up paying it no doubt if we get there. Found £82 for 2 of us from moor st to Wembley return..expensive game ay it!!
Wonder if it’s an indication of just how poor the end of the season has been and a worrying signal for next season if we don’t go up that it’s still nowhere near a sell out. For a play off game we are leading with a chance to go to Wembley I think that’s a hell of signifier. And people may say sod them, fair weather fans etc. but I doubt the owners who seem to be heavily interested in returns will view it that way
I think it’ll just about sell out, but there is something in what you’re saying for sure, if we’d just sneaked in it would be a different story.
For anyone travelling to the game by train via New Street, be aware that Villa are at home. Kick off at 7:30
There is some damage been done here, without a doubt.
When we went to Crewe, despite it being a very outside chance of promotion that day, the place was still buzzing with Walsall fans. Pubs full of Walsall fans full of beans, singing the songs.
Chesterfield, okay we didn’t have as many fans there but it was so flat pre-match, everyone seemed so down. A few people I spoke to said it felt like a pre-season friendly rather than a playoff game.
You would think that after Sunday’s performance and a game for a place at Wembley it would be a scramble for the tickets but I wonder if the damage is already done for some fans. I don’t think they are all fair weather fans either, I think it has hit more dedicated fans harder.
