I had my temperature taken in a Walsall pub in August. They told me I was 32 degrees. At that temperature I was hypothermic :grinning:

Reading Manc’s post on the other channel this morning, I imagine that the mercury would come spouting out of the top if he were tested.

The infrared temperature scanners are useless according to the WMAS paramedics that came out to ours weeks back. The only trustworthy way of getting an accurate temperature is using those that you can push into the ear.

Exactly. Got to be a reason people that work as a waiter at Pesto are given those temprature guns and people that work at a hospital are given those in ear things.

I have to use the hand held gun and anyone that has an unusual rise in temperature is put in an isolated room and then tested with the more accurate in ear test to get an exact reading.

are the armpit ones much use we use one always found it ok tbh but reading this not so sure now?
