Yeah I think effort was largely there - bit cagey first half.
Still don’t think it looks right performance and tactics wise - think a lot of today was on adrenaline. This one up top stuff with 2 10s just doesn’t seem to be fluid or anything.

Yea bloke gave everything for us today.wold love him and Chang to be here next season get a decent striker in of our own .like Dan says Trivela need to step up and put some investment into improving the quality dramatically in the playing squad .

Absolutely gutted but as I have stated before it was the Grimsby game when I finally realised we were done. It is not the last minute at Bradford we blew it but over the last 20 games. Our forward line has disintegrated and I am convinced playing DJ a few times would have given us the points we needed. For goodness sake, we knew all we had to do was win/draw at home to Accrington and draw or win at Crewe and we were up. We did not even score at home to Accrington - let that sink in!! This is 100% Sadlers (and his coaching staff) fault.
I feel the worst I have ever felt in over 50 years supporting Walsall FC and I don’t need anyone from the club who wasn’t born when I started my journey telling me to dream what is possible.

I think the two targetman running in cement approach has run its course.
Not sure if it’s by accident or design but Hall in AM supporting one CF has its merits and should stay for the away leg at least.

DJ played on his own a few times when Flynn was in charge but that’s irrelevant as Sadler won’t pick him.

We appear to be cursed. I didnt’ see much today to give me much hope for the playoffs, but you never know I guess.
I know they are my kids so I am obviously proud of them. I started this for them and I promised them if they stuck with it their days would come. Seconds away, but today was not their day. They have travelled all over this season and behaved impeccably, supported the team with pride and passion. I am so gutted for them, I wanted it so bad for them. You need to put this right in the very near future Walsall, whether it is this season or not. To my boys Jimmy and George, I’m so proud of you. Stick with it, we will have our day.

If they only give us 900 that’s what we should give them
we have to try and gain any advantage we can even if it means losing a few quid in gate receipts.

He didn’t use the word “ much “ in my recollection and referred to a stronger squad. I think last statement is probably true but Hall
got injured very early after his loan and Chang needed time although not as much as he was given in my view. The post season review must surely cover this in the close season. The supporters deserve a full explanation of how the dreadful run came about.

Yeah I know that’s how it goes sometimes. Feels like we’ve had more than our fair share of gut punches since January though. It’s on us we messed up but just get yourselves 3 up by half time Bradford don’t let us start hoping again. It’s bad enough coughing up 12 points, no need to twist the knife. Not like we’ve been living the dream this past twenty years.
