Crewe Alexandra (H) Nov 9th, 3pm

I’ve just been to the ground to get my Vale ticket. They have been very busy all day.

Over 7500 sold already for tomorrow, should be 8k plus easy.

Still got to get my 2 tickets

What great times we are currently enjoying. We’ve decided to get to the ground earlier so we can get a parking spot.

I’ve just got off the phone to the ticket office after ringing to order our Vale away tickets and she’s just told me that if I’m collecting tomorrow to give myself plenty of time because there are loads of people collecting tickets before the game tomorrow and that we’ve sold over 1100 so far for the Vale game.

Wow, if I drank that much liquid of any type I would miss the match as I would be constantly off to the loos.
One glass of squash or a cup of tea is enough for me even for a whole meal out.

My top tip is collect after the game if it is possible. Usually only a dozen at most at the ticket office. We have usually got a bit of time to kill before the train back, and if we have gone in the car, we wouldn’t be moving anywhere for sometime anyway off the retail park.

It might not happen very often, but is there an argument to keep the game on if both teams are losing a similar number of players to international call-ups? You could argue that it diminishes the entertainment value, but in nearly all cases, the Saturday attendance would have been higher than the midweek rearranged game.

Front of block Q seems popular. New singing section or segregation from a wasps nest?

Players families mainly I think

He is quite complimentary about us.

Jamma in for Albert

Interesting stats mentioned. Seems to suggest the two squads have the lowest average age in the Football League and the fewest league appearances.

Makes sense, certainly about the league appearances, with Simkin and Barrett both making their first league appearances this season.
Lowe, Jellis and HW can’t have made many appearances prior to this season either.

The lowest average age surprised me more, with Albert 37 and Jamma 34.

But thinking about it, we do have a young squad.
Other than those two, Flash and DD, are any of the others over 25?
