They should also have prevented half season ticket holders to buy before people who’s had 1 since the start of the season.
I never thought about that, an interesting point.
I wonder how many there are, I know a few. They go to pretty much every away game though, not just this season.

Absolutely, and all good and valid responses. There is no ideal solution to this, short of Crewe having a 20K seater stadium and giving us 5000 tickets. I get it that one of the main reasons for having a ST is to get first dabs on big games, particularly if one lives outside of the Walsall area and can’t so easily get to a lot of home games.
We can only hope we might still get more tickets, but not holding my breath, particularly while theres still a chance Crewe battling for the playoffs
There won’t be any more tickets I don’t think. They have already started selling tickets to Crewe fans in all of the other stands.
I can see more than a few finding a way into the home end though.

If Crewe drop off and have no chance of reaching the playoffs i would imagine they would release more tickets, but they may not due to the policing costs due to the troubles in previous games

I can see there being more trouble if they don’t, to be honest. I’ve already seen loads of people saying they will be going just to go to the pubs around Crewe, and there will be a lot at least trying to get in the home end.
That’s if we still have a chance of promotion, of course.

This is true, I have a number of mates who couldn’t get tickets and are travelling to drink in the local pubs , this has trouble written all over it.

Some people have to miss out on a ticket that’s life. I get disappointment but some of the entitled drivel posted on the facebook page makes me want to headbutt the wall. There is no perfect allocation system.
I dont think Crewe ever give anyone more than that stand do they? Its not worth the hassle to them/police i imagine.

Crewe could end up needing a result to get in the play offs. Imagine if it was the other way round and we gave Crewe extra tickets🤣. Personally think the 1 away rule was very generous

I’ve given my Son my ticket although we’ve been to well over 15 away games I’ll just have to go shopping with the wife.

I think on the open day there was no Prem game’s, but the end games there is Prem games.

Doesn’t affect me I’m sorted but I do think on these rare occasions where it may be a celebration that all of the option1 fans that left their money in during covid getting nothing back and keeping the club alive should automatically get 1st choice.
