If we don’t lose this I will be very pleased
We are due a thrashing and with morale at an all time low, fans turning on the team, stupid manager decisions , no strikers , defend from minute 12 and vs Bradford with cook
I’m going 5-0 Bradford cook hat trick
Serious conversations with Flynn after

I’m not being negative either mate(not saying your saying I am by the way) it’s just a general observation from reading posts on here to atmosphere inside the ground that’s all. It’s actually quite sad to see happening and I’d love nothing more than for it not to be happening.I’ve actually gone on record on another thread as saying I’d give Flynn this summer and up until the Christmas period to see where we are so I’m certainly not advocating a managerial change it’s just that this season went very flat and very quickly which is a crying shame.

We wont get thrashed. For all the frustrations with this season, our defence is very good.

Guessing it helps to keep prices very competitive when your getting 16-20K every home game.

For clarity, as most people will think that means ā€˜our 3 defenders are very good’……all of our players work very hard out of possession to defend.

Bradford to win and Cook to score is 4-1 on Skybet.

Cook to score a header and 2-1 Bradford is 50-1.

Bradford to win and Cook to score in both halves 33-1.

Absolute baloney.

Why are we due a thrashing?? We’ve hardly been being outplayed, and we’ve conceded more than 2 only once all season.

80/1 on a Andy Cook hat trick.
Had £5 on it!

They can afford to charge these prices due to the size of their stadium and the population Bradford has.

They have double the population of Walsall and have one Premier League club in a 50 mile radius, compared to our two, three if you count West Brom.

Yes that’s fair mate but they haven’t put them up this season that’s more my point

I suppose it’s a little bit chicken and egg. It could be argued that keeping the prices low is what helps keep the audiences high (and we could all do with being high when watching Walsall at times) and then because audiences are at that level they can keep prices down. :chicken: :egg:

Quick back of fag packet calculations shows 15k season tickets generating approx 3m in ticket revenue plus the add on matchday revenue it brings. So that revenue may still more than adequately cover their costs.
Their wage bill may not be significantly bigger than ours. Their fan base has been very critical of recruitment during this season despite their current good form.
Also despite the larger revenue they have, up until January this year they have been generally as abject as us in mounting a promotion challenge since relegation.

I trust this isn’t a breach of condition 6 of your season ticket purchase, depending upon your understanding of the wording?
Should get away with it if your friend identifies as a Walsall fan.

And turns up in top hat and tails of course.

Well said friend wouldn’t be going so the club isn’t missing out on any revenue, if anything this is a positive fur the club as he would probably purchase some subsistence at the game and contribute to the atmosphere. Surely the seat is better occupied than left empty.

As a season ticket holder I’ve never been happier to have a gig ticket on a tuesday night clash with a game then this one.
it’ll be freezing at bescot and cannot see past osadebe and cook giving it big to our fans.

I’ll stick to the bar at the 02 and follow the score on my phone !

I’ve decided to go for the good of my mental health. Being outside will do my head the world of good. Don’t really care about the football. Expecting shite, so I won’t be disappointed if that’s what I see.
