To be fair, we definitely should have had a penalty, but we were so so poor in the first 15 minutes and the second half was abysmal.

In attacking terms, one of our worst performances of the season. We do miss McEntee in midfield but I think he had a great game in defence. Possibly my MOTM. Maher looked much improved in the first half and he got some good experience.
Gordon did not have his best game but must have been playing with jet-lag and Draper was largely ineffective. Knowles was pretty awful: no antics but not much quality either. Not only did he miss a great chance but his crossing was poor too, even though he got in a few good positions.
I was expecting a late loser but at least we kept a clean sheet. Evans had little do and it really was as clear a penalty as you will ever see. The ball hit an outstretched arm and probably stopped a goal.
What, trying to keep the ball in play?

We were lucky not to have been at least a goal down in the 1st half, Knowles missed a sitter, otherwise we didnāt offer much. The whole game was just a very scrappy affair.
I thought they were a decent outfit who attacked in numbers, well organized and well coached, they should be higher up the table than they are.
Iām not sure how many of the invited school kids were converted to fans, based on todayās performance, not many!

Was always going to be the case.
Had a decent bounce at starting of his tenure beating Stockport, Bradford and Salford in opening two months which were all good wins on the day but going into winter and reality hasnāt half set in now.
Any claim of play off challenge is completely laughable and reality is results arenāt good enough to even be comfortable mid table.
Up to the club now as there is no incremental improvement on last year from what Iām seeing and that surely has to be the barometer?
