D 0-0 vs Forest Green Rovers (H) - League Two - Sat 25th Nov, 3pm

Johnson showed more in the 20 mins than draper did the 70 mins he was on . Surely Saddler should have known play your 100 % fit striker Johnson from the start and bring Draper on for last 20 . That’s what I’d have done anyway but what do I know ffs

Officially Sadler out. Never ever want to here babies crying at skeptics of the decisions and proclamations this club make ever again.

Absolute dog shit.

Good game. Could have gone either way.

It’s National League level stuff (and below in some cases) but two equal sides cancelling each other out. Lots of effort and endeavour making up for lack of skill.

In fact it was so good, I reckon a few of those players might make it into the football league one day.

Poor totally poor!! Great advertisement for the full side stand full of kids!

Going backwards even more, Sadler out

No
But a good manager would

We should have been 2 down after 15 minutes.

I’d say it was fairly even after that, we had a good 10 mins, so did they and there was a spell where it was even.

A point against a team on the up who are well coached

It was obvious earlier in the season we werent going anywhere but the players are getting worse and we now have to seriously think about ensuring we can build a team now for next season and stop wasting time on Sadler and the ‘hope’ that itll be ok in the end, cause it wont

Sadler out

The good news is we have January to come & our season always gets better then. We all sign some top players & don’t lose our best loans & kick on & climb the table. Just be patient & lump on.

Best wait for Sadler’s post match presser, probably describe it as if we just got a point against prime Barcelona

A bit of perspective …

Spanked away at bottom of the table Sutton.
Lost at home against Harrogate.
Scraped a point at home against second bottom FGR.

Either:

The players are just shit
Or
The way they are told to play with a high press running around like headless chickens means the coach is off his tits.

Sadler out before its too late. There should be enough talent in this squad to be comfortable in this league with round pegs and sound coaching.

Not really, they had one decent chance and a couple of half chances. We defended pretty well.
We had a stone wall penalty not given, and Knowles missed a very good chance.
Even Stevens for me.

Only 3 teams did not score a goal in league 2 today and 2 of them were playing at the poundland.

When are we going shout a little louder! We’re not even whispering at the moment

Two badly average teams battled for a point. Relegation probably won’t happen this season, but promotion starts to disappear behind the horizon. And next weeks can be hot for someone, cuz it’s hard to see that progression.

This is totally unacceptable … MS has to go now, I wouldn’t give him the chance to get a consolation victory next Saturday. I don’t see how he can survive with total disarray on the pitch, rapidly dwindling belief from even the most deluded supporters. I have been blindly behind this team for over 40 years and I honestly think this is amongst the worst feelings I can remember… nothing to excite or create belief and passion amongst the fans… BB sharpen your axe tonight and put this woeful failure of a “head coach” and is out of our misery

On course for 51 points and now at 2 points a game to reach the playoffs. There is no way we are going to get anywhere near it, it’s time for Sadler to go and salvage what little we can of this season.

No doubt Sadler will say that he was jolly pleased to keep a clean sheet, and that it was ever so difficult to be disappointed that we couldn’t score against such a league 2 power house as FGR
