There’s a couple hours of tailbacks on M6 so I hope the barrow players set off earlier this morning as they could be caught up in that.
Edit it’s closed around Stafford.
Just been reading the match preview on Barrow’s website. Apparently, their team is travelling to Birmingham for the match tonight. Last time they played here about a year ago they beat the Brummie side and someone the Bluebirds should look out for tonight is Freddie Draper.
I hope that their team is as ill-prepared as their content writer.

Im in Stafford today and its crazy, A34 has some closures due to roadworks compounding the situation too. People are blocked in lanes.

I read that. Blues are playing tonight so if the coach driver looks for floodlights they might end up there.
The M6 was remarkably quiet from the M54 junction right down to J9. Obviously all snarled up further north
