D 1-1 vs Crawley Town (A) - League Two - Tue 13th Feb, 7:45pm

Josh never touched the feckin ball Matt !!!

The fanbase will give patience if they can see something tangible building. The problem I think here is, a lot are struggling see it. Its just a continuation of limping along, as it has been for 5 solid years.

Knew sadler would blame something other than himself of his team
This week it’s the ref

Tonight’s pearl of wisdom from Sadler.

“That was more like who we are tonight”

So a scrappy 1-1 away at Crawley is our benchmark?

Where do the clubs employees get this negative attitude and tacit acceptance of failure from? I don’t want him saying it’s an awful result, but I do want to hear some frustration at the result. To me it sounds like he’s quite happy that he got a result that’s probably bought him an extra week in the job.

So lump on 4-2, Saddlers win.

Matt and Jordan are there to score goals it’s no good say they couldn’t handle them, they didn’t score so what’s the point of them being on the pitch.

That interview is completely delusional.

“Jamille and Josh were outstanding”

“Really effective”

Absolutely mental.

And they pop up in very unusual positions :joy::joy::joy::joy:

Fantastic up front. Just those pesky key moments again. He looks like he is content :roll_eyes:

Barking.

I found it a little odd that he said the boys showed resilience not to come away with nothing. Resilience would have been to come away with the 3 points after going ahead surely

Said it before sadler doesn’t rate players on their talent or ability but only on workrate
He would have Gordon over messi
Strikers are paid to score goals and how many have our strikers scored this year between them who played today?
It’s embarrassing

I think you miss the point.

Here we are with what, 3 goals in the last 5 games, meanwhile DJ sits on the bench?

That’s why people don’t like Sadler.

He’s got a proven player there, with something we desperately need but he’s too stubborn to use him for whatever reason, whether it’s a personal issue between them, or Sadlers desire to play a system that supposedly doesnt suit DJ. Either way, it doesn’t matter, DJ is proven and should be starting most games for the benefit of the club that employees him. Sadlers job is to get the best results for the club; not back himself in to a corner over whatever pathetic reason he won’t play DJ

I reckon Sadler has been receiving media training from Dame Omellette. Its excrutiating

The rant about the ref is a rare occasion he sounds like a human being before going back into the scripted soundbites we hear week in week out. I’m not sure he even believes them himself anymore.

Referees fault then.

I think an inquest is needed as to why the referee has been allowed to coach our players and pick our team this week. In order to take the blame he must have done.

Control the controllable Mat.

Trying to work out whether Matt is more like one of those cocky shiny suit estate agents, or one of those recruitment ‘consultants’ who have bleached white teeth.

Tbf dj is apparently injured
