The fanbase will give patience if they can see something tangible building. The problem I think here is, a lot are struggling see it. Its just a continuation of limping along, as it has been for 5 solid years.

Where do the clubs employees get this negative attitude and tacit acceptance of failure from? I donât want him saying itâs an awful result, but I do want to hear some frustration at the result. To me it sounds like heâs quite happy that he got a result thatâs probably bought him an extra week in the job.

I think you miss the point.
Here we are with what, 3 goals in the last 5 games, meanwhile DJ sits on the bench?
Thatâs why people donât like Sadler.
Heâs got a proven player there, with something we desperately need but heâs too stubborn to use him for whatever reason, whether itâs a personal issue between them, or Sadlers desire to play a system that supposedly doesnt suit DJ. Either way, it doesnât matter, DJ is proven and should be starting most games for the benefit of the club that employees him. Sadlers job is to get the best results for the club; not back himself in to a corner over whatever pathetic reason he wonât play DJ

The rant about the ref is a rare occasion he sounds like a human being before going back into the scripted soundbites we hear week in week out. Iâm not sure he even believes them himself anymore.

Referees fault then.
I think an inquest is needed as to why the referee has been allowed to coach our players and pick our team this week. In order to take the blame he must have done.
