Why the need for pants?
I’m actually looking forward to tonight. I think we will win (won’t change my opinion on the rebuild mind. These are poor, if we don’t win this it really is a wake up call).
I’d like to see Kinsella back in the team. No idea what he did at Tranmere to get dropped. I’d also like to see Leak at right back over Mills.
Taylor talked about not knowing if he was up to management before he took the job, well here’s your first big test.
Agreed. The most worrying thing for me about the two league matches so far is not that some players played well or badly but that, on a number of occasions, the defence was completely at sea, whether in defending corners or in allowing fast breaks. I wondered if Taylor might be expecting too much in terms of the adaptability of the players.
The other worry is having so many injuries in the second week of the season.
Some of the squad didn’t look fit, this is very disappointing, we were expecting great things with a ‘new broom’ approach and a new set of supposedly better players, but once again we have been sold a pup.
Hope tonight is the turn round we need, but I expect him to pick the Oss again, let him take all the set pieces and we will be let down again by static unfit defenders, an immobile midfield and an attack completely devoid of guile.
Despite this, we supporters continue to imagine we might scrape a win…UTS
We need to start scoring goals and winning games. After the rollocking MT gave them on Saturday they should be up for this one.
I would like the team to show more desire and energy than they did against FG, the lack of fight didn’t sit well with a lot of fans and that needs to change.
2-0 Saddlers.
I left early on Saturday and we scored! I’ve decided not to go tonight so we’ll probably win. Perhaps I should just give up? We might soar to the dizzy heights of 23rd then…
Does anyone know why it’s £24 in the upper tonight? Do prices go up on the day.
Don’t lump on a 4-2 win
In order to encourage pre-match sales and reduce matchday queues, prices increase by £2 on matchday.
24 quid to watch division 4 football. No wonder we don’t attract floating fans.
Madness really is .
They should open the family stand to anyone under 16 for £2 on the gate. That’s what it used to be when I was a kid and attracted quite a few local kids with nothing better to do
I’ve just had a text from ifollow telling me i can watch the ‘action’ - logged on and it’s asking for card details just like last season - I thought it was only available abroad (or via a dodgy VPN)?
I tried ifollow while I was away and it was only live commentary
Hold on I paid £24 (plus the £1.25) for Saturday, which I purchased on the 10th Aug - I thought that sounded steep, isn’t that the new price this season then?
Only applies to Saturday 3pm kick offs I think mate. Think you are fine to watch it from the UK on night games.
Just checked it’s £22 goes up to £24 on the day.
£25.25 if you book on line
During a momentary alcohol induced lapse of logic I’ve done a Wiltshire and gone for a 4-2 victory at 50-1.
£25 is absolutely ridiculous to watch this standard of football, particularly with the condition of the stadium and catering (which I think has been mentioned briefly in another thread).
