I take it back about the measured debate and no point scoring
I think people who are actually at the match ( esp away games) will always have a more negative point of view travelling back after throwing a game away than people who are sat at home watching it on ifollow. Once Crewe first goal went in you could see in the away end we all knew what was coming and when it happened that feeling will always be the same regardless what type of football we played for an hour. Way easier to accept when ur watching it at home and havenāt spent Ā£100 and wasted a day watching it and travelling.
Was it different to Matt in the friendlies or his previous appearances this season?
Sadler obviously assumed that Matt would be the first choice to partner DJ this season, since he started him in most of the friendlies, but anyone who saw Matt in those matches would have realised that his legs had gone. It is a worry that Sadler does not seem to have noticed.
I dunno about that mate.
I made the decision not to go yesterday in the end. Was gonna cost a small fortune for me and my boys to go and it is both their Birthdayās next week.
My oldest nearly broke his phone when they scored, my youngest came out with words I didnāt even know he knew, and I was seriously considering throwing the T.V out the window
I know what you mean though, our support is amazing, deserve so much better than weāve had.
Haha thatās quality and passion for you.
My response was more to mazza and Andy going backwards and forwards. Both have a fair point but itās harder when ur there and travelled compared to watching it at home. Anyways on to the next home games and hopefully turn bescot into a fortress.
Have to disagree with Steven who said Matt should be starting games instead of coming on.
Shouldnāt be anywhere near the first team to be honest unless he can get into better shape. Miles off the pace.
Take it that negativity is fine as long as itās directed at Matt
100% agree with this.
MSās style of football is putting more experianced managers to shame imho.
Get a stronger mentality in our defence sorted and learn that JM is not a professional footballer and results will soon follow.
Would rather draw these games 2-2 rather than boring nil nils under Flynn.
I blame Sadler more than Matt for selecting him really. He should be able to see he is miles off the pace.
Hopefully after yesterday he will
Comes to something when I heard sarcastic cheers when Matt actually held a ball up which Iām guessing is what he was bought on to do.
Hopefully Draper will not return to Lincoln come January.
Unfair on DJT to be fair, he has a desire to develop and very well could.
I actually really want him to do well and draw a line under his ladt loan.
These are the types of situations that will go a long way to scuppering any chance weāll have of getting promoted, because when loan players get momentum and start scoring they get recalled and when your contracted players get recognition thereās a very real possibility theyāll get sold so your sort of hoping for a bit of a miracle shot in the dark to go up.The only thing that helps is the top 3 go up and after playoffs thereās 4 teams that get promoted so it does offer more of a chance. The money being spent in the league now is frightening and I donāt see how anyone can deny that which again makes it difficult, but Iāve seen signs of progression albeit slower than many want to see and how we play now is so much better to go and watch than weāve witnessed in recent times so work on cutting mistakes out and work on game management and I think we could finish in the top half.
Question has to be asked what is Sadler seeing in training that is putting Matt in front of him?
I reckon we will see DJT get a run out Tuesday, hopefully he can take his opportunity and give the manager something to think about.
A hatrick from DJT⦠would that deserve a start?
Fantasy i know but thats a level of competition we need!!
Just a good showing will do.
If he moves he will be an improvement on Matt
You could say itās like watching Matt Paint dry.
