I don’t mind it that we’re taking the ■■■■ out of Clarke and Vale.
It’s football, we can support our club and constantly take the ■■■■ out of a bloke who left us for ‘better’.
It’s like when I see people online putting that some of our fans are ‘obsessed’. No, it’s this thing that people do which is called taking the ■■■■ and enjoying someone’s failings for a laugh. It isn’t all so serious.

Not sure obsessed is the right word but if it is it’s because quite honestly I find it funny as ■■■■ and extremely cathartic after 18 months of calling out his bullshit here.

The man proved to be an absolute arrogant tosspot so I’m all for continuing to delight in his failings. You reap what you sow!
Could always not come on to the Darrell Clarke thread if your not interested in people talking about him.I’ve never understood why people who are against a certain subject or are bored of people talking about it go and look at that subjects thread makes no sense at all.

He was crap as our Manager, but as our ex-Manager I’m finding him quite entertaining.

He’s not all he thinks he is yes he did very well at Salisbury and Rovers but at Rovers his promotions where funded by big budgets he ■■■■■■■ a load of money on ■■■■■ when they went up to league one and was sacked he’s a flash in the pan and will never do it again from what I’ve seen of him.According to reports he spent about 650k on players that season that’s a lot for a club that size at that level you have to get it right and he didn’t.

I can see him being reunited with Brizzle Rovers next season bearing in mind the precarious position they’re in.
Surely at some point he’s going to get the Real Mansfield job??
Then he can re-apply for his mam’s council house.
Looking at the state of him in yesterday’s presser, If I were him I’d get my name on the list now…emergency…down and out in Burslem, at least the local amateur football club got him a nice warm second-hand coat, even if it was a bit itchy.

He mentioned a couple of times that they “huffed and puffed” but we know how he likes to change things round so I think next match he will send them out demanding that they puff and huff instead.

Odds-on to lose their next game, against Oldham, now they’ve sacked Kewell…
On the Quest highlights last night I thought DC was particularly offhand and unfriendly , plus I hadn’t got a scooby what he was on about. Sporting a Boris type mop as well, so unkempt
I am so glad he has gone not good enough I want the lads to hurt! I want them to know what relegation to the non league feels like! Or words to that effect, how many times does this have to happen before football clubs give this bloke a wide birth what a blinder you’ve played to get his contract paid off LP,I bet that feeling of being upset after they approached him and he accepted didn’t last long,I’d have cracked open a bottle of the finest champers available and had a right old laugh.

Clarke leaving with compo and time left on his contract must have been worth at least 150k to LP instead of sacking him and 150k down Got to be worth a bottle of the finest champagne. What a result all things considered.

i bet hes got a nice collection of training gear does keep the gear or return when sacked aways wounded about
He looked and sounded like a man that has lost everything, unkempt, unshaven, and running out of ideas of how to cover his own inabilities.
I think they will sack him before the end of this season, lets hope they don’t ask for their money back, Bonser will already have topped up his family ‘fund’!
I agree, if they lose to Oldham I bet they’ll have Robbie banging on the door shouting for him to go
