Darrell Clarke

We were in a better state the day after he left us than we were the day before.

Looking at all these testimonies he sounds more like a ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā–  tsunami than a football manager :joy:

You missed off a couple of words. He actually said," By leaving, I have left every football club in a better state."

When he leaves, the secretary rearranges the letters from his name and tells the boot boy to ā€˜RAKE CLEAR LLAD.’ And indeed we do, like a festering cat litter tray…

(I did have to add another A, but that was the grade that DC gave himself everyday for his coaching performance)

I’d say that’s inaccurate to say the least our football club highlights this fully.Darrell Clarke did absolutely nothing to help us move forward all he did was take us backwards,he did this by his poor recruitment of playing staff and his constant rotating of formations in football matches.More often than not he’d get his starting line up and the formation of those selected horribly wrong and change it during the first 20 minutes sometimes even making it worse,he made substitutions after 20 minutes at one stage proving this to us all.He had a knack of dropping players who’d performed well in the previous fixture which does nothing for a players morale, infact i’d say as a man to man manager his skills are nothing short of shocking. The best deal we have done in many years was to get a pay off from Port Vale for his services if that’s what you’d call them and they will also find out soon enough what he is about which isn’t much at all.

Hahaha, oh wow. What an arsehole. The bloke at work who supports Vale hates him already, but he had a bit of an insight from some of the stuff I used to tell him, and how I’d go in most Monday’s moaning about the way we played.

Think @el_nombre put it best, from a relegated League One club needing a rebuild to a bang average League Two club needing a rebuild.

Issue now is we’ll probably find it even harder than then to convince players capable of dragging us out of this league with our two less than impressive seasons so far.

Maybe we will both strike it lucky and Salford pinch him for a few hundred thousand compo :joy: i wonder if we thought to include a sell on clause?

Wow, what’s happened to this ā€˜sleeping giant’ with ā€˜mossiv potential’, that went and poached a successful manager from a tiny local rival in the same division?!

:joy:

Port vale doing very well at half time! Clarke proving himself

Indeed! Just to spoil the fun a bit, I’d like to point out that they own their ground.

As long as there is no return, no refund policy in place, it’s good. Look like fifth league is someone’s level.

Oh dear :see_no_evil::joy:

Why are we still obsessed with what Clarke is doing? I personally don’t care if Vale get relegated, win thd league or go bust.
I’m more concerned about our own teams problems.
Clarke has gone, lets move on!

Because he is manager of Port Vale, a club that many Walsall fans, particularly of a certain age passionatley detest, myself included. And because he had the temerity to suggest that the shower of shit from Burslem are a better club than us to manage. Hopefully after he gets Vale relegated he will contrive to get the Shrewsbury job and do the same to them.

So we did actually know more about our manager than they did after all.

Who’d have thunk it.

Spot on Geordie.
It’s also one of a very few forms of entertainment we have at the moment as Saddlers fans.
Let the Clarke baiting continue!

Exactly and it’s the way he has shown no respect to us and the fan base who didn’t even get the chance to vent there anger towards him on a match day at home when he was worried about every other teams strengths instead of his own team .
We don’t have much to get excited about at the moment apart from looking out for the port result and hoping they fail.

It won’t take them long to work him out!
