Feel like a bit of minority (or part of a quiet majority perhaps 
), thought Dave was very good for us and improved substantially since he joined. Possibly as a result of the recency bias of Wembley. Iād assume Posh also see his potential hence the 4+1 year contract.
Give a bit more money to play with I suppose, although losing a key starter two weeks before the season starts is a worry.

I would add that your Man united analogy doesnāt really work here as they have a very poor track record on transfers unlike Peterborough who have a very good track record.

In all fairness to Dave, he isnāt the prettiest of players, but if you look at the stats, he was much better than people give him credit for. Posh donāt often get young signing wrong and hopefully we have a big sell on fee in there

Is that right that Peterborough donāt often get a young signing wrong, or is it just what you heard.
I genuinely donāt know, I donāt follow football that closely any more. I bet they have got loads wrong as well as a lot right.

I think a very underrated attribute of Dave is that he doesnāt seem injury prone and can put in a shift for the whole season.
Not bad attributes to have for a centre back
