I’m not surprised you don’t understand my stance.
I mean - I’ve made it pretty obvious what my stance is - but it’s you so
Anyway, off you pop now. As I said - I’ve got exactly what I wanted. Another one of the massive bottlers gone

Calm down mate. How can you get so tearful because people are disagreeing with you.
Being Mr Shouty doesn’t mean you’re right
What are you on about I’m actually buzzing!
It’s others coming at me. Pipe down
Best edit this post - don’t want to offend someone
He’s got a significant amount of games under his belt at such a young age but there was always a worry that he’d give a penalty away plus his passing was quite poor.
In fairness he wasn’t made of glass and posh must see something in him.
Whatever happens in the future I wish him all the best.
Oh dear. I’m so hurt to hear that I don’t have your relevance
I forget sometimes that some of our posters may only be children or just can’t interact with grown ups
I’m popping off now
I see you’ve edited your post with a picture of a cat / p*ssy
It appears I’m arguing with a 12 year old
I’m not sure why you needed to be so blunt They are a club that other clubs in the EFL try to replicate due to there impressive recruitment strategy. (A lot of people on here have been ranting about copying there strategy for years) Pretty much every season they sell young players for huge profit, often millions. They will get some wrong because it’s impossible to have 100% success, but they get an awful lot right. Only time will tell.
Yep
I didn’t mean to be blunt. I apologise for that.
You do realise the post you originally replied to was tongue in cheek? Not to be taken seriously?
But as per usual people struggle to distinguish between what’s serious and what isn’t. Not surprising really.
Fantastic - enjoy your evening - I certainly will
I understand there is a sell on clause so we will not get all the money. I am sorry to see him go as rather like Allen he was improved by us but we won’t reap the benefit unless we can find another uncut diamond. Like the signing of Flint though and with the young lads either side of him we will be strong at the back.
And the snap hook out of play!! I like Dave, he did a decent job for us over the last two seasons, and he is only 21. But: he is prone to a mistake and he was targeted last season as a weak link in defence, with the ball over his head - he is a bit slow on the turn. I think Aiden Flint is an upgrade on Dave, and more what we need: an experienced, unit of a central defender, who is dominant in the air. I think our defensive resources are pretty good: Burke/Browne, Flint/Priest, Weir/Cox (Hancock). Bring it on!!
The argument over Okagbue seems quite obvious to me.
His level is slightly lower than I’d like and he has obvious flaws in his game, BUT he’s very young with a lot of men’s football behind him.
His upside is high given the experience and age, but I think the swap for Flint improves our chances this season, but Flint is a short-term fix.
I don’t mind that too much, a better team this season, money in the bank and hopefully more signings with high potential.
Dave wouldn’t sign a new contract given the interest so cash in now as we’ll only get a single season out of him and the good bit that we don’t want to lose (potential) is unlikely to be realised in that time anyway so no big loss.
So Hoof it Dave departs, most limited footballer to make a living, did he need a lift, would gladly of paid his uber
And posh paid money
Sad to see Dave go, really don’t understand some of the comments about him.
He was young and made mistakes, but who didn’t/doesn’t?
He’d have improved still further next season and was familiar with the way Sadler wanted to play, so in that respect he’s a loss. I don’t begrudge him the move, he’s bettering himself, and will do well. Nor do I feel annoyance at the club, this is clearly the model now - buy sensible young players (ie 19/20), expose them, give them football, sell them on at a profit. And it’s a model I’ve long encouraged, so that’s good.
I do question however whether we’ve got the cycle / cadence right. We are still selling players well before they’ve peaked in the division we are in, and as such, the club hasn’t seen any progress off the back of them, nor realised the potential profits in them.
It’s clear we now have a solid way of identifying talent, we just need to make sure that in 2 years time, we’re lamenting the loss of Burke for half a mill, or whatever, but we’ve achieved league 1 status. If we’ve not, then what’s the point?
You can always tell how good a player was by the reaction to losing him and on here it’s a bit meh
Another bottler gone and one who turned on the fans
Not arsed shovel foot he might be young but technical ability should be there at his age if you have it.
He doesn’t unfortunately.
Did he? Where has this come from? Maybe I missed it
I do appreciate the honesty of his intentions with us. Got the end of the paywalled article in the E&S
To be honest it is a good way of selling the club to good young prospects.
You only have to have half a good season at Walsall and there are opportunities elsewhere.
Would be even better if we could have been in League 1.
