Been really impressed by Okagbue the past couple of games - been going under the radar with how well everybody else has been doing. Going to be some player if he keeps it up - heās only 20.

Bit clumsy at times but certainly impressing at such a young age.
Possibly someone we could sign perm in the summer
If he was to be released like DJT was, then I would sign him.
Wasnāt impressed at the start with him at the start, looked like a rabit in headlights at county but heās certainly improved over the last few weeks.
Given his age and relative inexperience if he continues to develope could become a decent player.
Would fit the model for young players we can develop and increase the value of so may well de worth considering depending on Stokeās intentions for him baring in mind they sent him out on loan for that purpose so would depend on the price tag.

I am a huge admirer of Dave Okagbue. He looks a great prospect, exactly the right sort of profile we should be looking to sign permanently with huge upside potential.

I think that this picture is a good indicator of the untapped potential of the Irish league.
Under Tommy Coakley, the likes of Dornan, Forbes and Alex Taylor all came from Scotland.
I think that the link up with Drogheda gives us a foothold into interesting links and it explains the Freddie Draper signing too.
With Tierney, Okagbue and Maher all teammates for Ireland, there is a potential pathway for unity and evolving together.

Me neither, then he got injured, and I thought he was still injured when he was named in the side against Mansfield and had forgotten about him to the extent I thought it was a youth team player until I saw him. He was excellent that game and generally been decent since.
The Priest has made a huge difference to Daniels and Dave for me having him there gives them more freedom and Danielās isnt carrying the defence on his shoulders like he was in my opinion.

Nice piece in the E&S today about Sadlers absolute delight at the impact of Okagbue at the club and how he wants to build even stronger ties with Stoke after two impressive young professionals have already made the trip down the M6.
Maybe itāll mean an end to the backward knuckle draggers singing the stupid flute song. And the pope one.

Doubt it, although theyāre all now dying out, it seems to have been passed on to the yoof.
Pity, as I didnāt really hear it for years in the 2010s.
The price of the flute should be updated, given recent inflation levels.
Most the idiots that sing it probably know next to nothing about āthe troublesā.
Every week Dave seems to just get better and better.
One Iād definitely want to sign permanently in the summer.
Thought losing Farquharson and Daniels in quick succession would have hurt us massively, but the new back three have been outstanding.
