The people who were shouting it down on other threads have gone quiet. These are the same people who want to point fault at others posts if it puts them in a good light with the club for the next Tea and Biscuits meeting

Brett Angell has had quite an interesting career in coaching and would probably be within the club’s budget…
Since we are playing Crawley tonight, John Gregory is another name to throw into the mix. He may have been there at the same time as Sadler too…
Not sure where Neil Emblen is now: another interesting name. I know he was working in New Zealand at one point. If that is still the case, he won’t want to leave but if his contract is up, he might fancy a return to Blighty?
Personally, I think that one of the reasons Money was successful was because of his coaching experience abroad…

Interesting to see all the names mentioned, however I would caveat that the DOF role is a specific role that links the footballing personnel within the club to the Board of Directors. It is therefore more of a governance role than a boots and tracksuit role on the training pitch.
The name of Michael Johnson really interests me, well qualified in the governance aspect, with a footballing background and also local. He would get my vote.

I heard Pomlett has one of his haulage mates shipping the various groups favourite biscuits to attendees houses.
Whole boxes of family circle for WSA. And the Trust with their Abbey Crunch - contrary to popular belief they didn’t disappear years ago.

I’m sure the Tea and Biscuits will be back on the menu soon. Keep towing the official line and asking all the polite Questions. Leave the real questions to the others they’re doing a good job.
At the time the Director of Football was being discussed you won’t have been agreeing because it wasn’t going with the grain of what the Club were wanting to do.
If you are to carry on your reactionary type approach, carry on, I’ll keep an eye out for the day when the penny drops that the only way to influence the club in any meaningful way is to influence it’s cashflow. You changed your mind on the DoF role who knows whats next.
And nope, not paying for Ifollow tonight. Not a penny more.
