Someone told me that a manager was about to sign, and he walked at the last minute because of the way he felt he had been treated over something

Yes everything is fine in the chunkster household,
Poor old John Macey has had a few health issues, but he still manages to get to Tenerife 4-5 times a year, him and Glen hired one of those mobility scooters last time, and they managed to go everywhere on it 
I will try to get to a home game before xmas to see a few old mates, they managed to drink me under the table last time 
And i am too old to do anything to get barred now mate so no worries on that score
I’d heard a very similar story. The name was Richard O’Kelly.

This may well be true, I understood the O`Kelly advised against signing him based on information along that has been mentioned.

DHF - until I read this I was one of those people criticising Sadler for not playing DJ but it’s clear that there are other factors in the mix. But this is also really worrying - if Draper is going back to Lincoln and DJ isn’t a viable option we’re back to lacking a quality striker. Apart from DJ’s purple patch in the first half of last season we’ve been in this position for a number of years - and have struggled to be anything other than bottom half of L2.

He pointed out that every email that comes into the club automatically goes over to America, so the owners are fully aware. That. a fan representation group of supporters. Requesting s. meeting and being flatly refused. Is apparently ok
Makes you wonder why they wont speak to a supporters group surely they have nothing to hide.

Not as such. It was more to do with some of the comments directed at the players after the game, and also about Sadler on social media, which i understand the club feels has gone too far.
Choosing dj however good he was over o Kelly with what he offers is barmy to me
O Kelly is pure class and could help make Dutton look like smith

That being the case, it proves the lack of knowledge and understanding within the decision makers in the club. ROK would have been a superb appointment.
