Got it, appreciate you responding.

Hand picked questions at a fans forum is a complete waste of time.I agree that it should be off the cuff mate but it never is because nobody likes to feel in an uncomfortable position. Its much easier to see what’s coming and get your answers ready.

Slightly ‘tongue in cheek’ (but not as ‘tongue in cheek’ as I used to think), Trivela now have outright ownership of several acres of prime development land with nearby access to a very central part of the UK’s motorway infrastructure.

Site is seventeen acres in size. Mate

I like ROK and agree would have been a good short term appointment. However - ROK has left Walsall twice before, and I could see him only doing it for a year - even if this rumour is true. Maybe the plan was for ROK as manager with Sadler as the assistant?

He was also interviewed just after the Doncaster game at home I think? - where he said he just wanted to spend time playing golf and be with his grand kids…I don’t think he’s the answer for us really - although he might find someone from Walsall FC calling him again soon if it hasn’t happened already…

If anyone knows of any strikers coming back from a serious injury (ACL etc.) whose first tentative steps into returning to 1st team action is around January 2024 can you please copy onto floppy disk and send into the following address:

Head of Recruitment
Poundland Bescot Stadium
Walsall
WS1 4SA

I am reliably informed they have begun to power up the IBM PC 5150 in preparation for a busy January and will be uploading all information and data received by floppy disk to identify the right characters.

Please note no RWB entries will be accepted as it corrupts the data file.

Thanks :+1:t2:

In theory, but then again every manager we’ve ever had was “in theory” excellent to begin with. I think it is more the policy the club has towards budgets and the amount of freedom each manager has had with transfers etc. Flynn reckons he was happy with his transfer budget and Sadler would have sold his mother to get the job so I doubt he had too many demands.

Disgraceful about Buckley.

Definitely needs to be asked at the next fans forum. They don’t vet those questions.

Shush, you’ll be accused of hysteria and paranoia for critical thinking of the motives of our transatlantic saviours.

I don’t know, but I still can’t see how we are going to return the sort of yield expected for the land outlay. Particularly as there seems little investment in the playing side.

Complain about the funny tasting carrots not that their favouritre fishmonger isnt rota’d for Saturday afternoons.

Can confirm i was told the same we were set to have Okelly and David Kelly as our management team but the rug was pulled at the last minute and they gave it to Sadler after a load of fannying around and bullshit

Or service. Or management. Or whatever.

Every single business in the world answer to its customers. Every. Single. One.

I don’t work I’m football, but we have to inform our clients when their usual point of contact leaves, or is put on a different assignment. It’s absolute basic client management.

If i understand this thread correctly …

  • Trivela brought in DJ to sell season tickets
  • Trivela agreed terms with a mysterious manager but failed to tell him about DJ
  • Mystery manager when he found out about DJ decided not to take up the Head coach position thus shafting Trivela who then spent the next 4 weeks fannying around to appoint Sadler
  • DJ is considered a bad egg
  • DJ is disrupting team harmony
  • DJ doesnt have many friends in the squad
  • Trivela are now putting pressure on Sadler to get rid of DJ in January
  • Lincoln are not happy with WFC as Draper has been overworked
  • Draper is being recalled in January
  • Sadler has a big ego and doesnt like to be told he is wrong
  • Sadler has a performance review coming up in January with the option to remove him

When people are saying there are no basket cases in this league, based on this thread we are looking like THE Basket case club.

Based on the above i can only conclude that Sadler is going to be relegated to his previous coaching role and DJ moved on in preparation for Mystery Manager to take up the reigns on January 31st

WOW!

You would inform clients of the changes but not the reason why.

There was absolutely no way that RoK was going to come back here after helping for the last 3 games of last season. He doesn’t want that constant involvement any more. Im pretty sure that RoK put a good word in for Sadler with the Americans.

As for Ned, he was interviewed by the Club for the managers job but he never heard anything back from them. They didn’t even have the decency to say that he was not going to be considered.

So i dont know where all this talk of Ned and RoK has come from and them being the dream team has come from.

He was not interviewed For. Managers job mate.

He was interviewed and offered the number two role. Then club. pulled the plug the very day. The contract was due to be signed.

Again, completely false. Of course you have to explain it, otherwise what’s the point in letting them know.

It’s the first question asked, and you answer it …. Because you answer to your clients/customers.

If someone was moved/dismissed due to a disciplinary and that was disclosed to a client/customer then that would be a GDPR breach.
