Doncaster Rovers (A) Tue April 1st, 7.45pm

A massive, massive point, feels a bit like Cheltenham away in reverse. DJ and two late penalties at Swindon have set up Saturday brilliantly and I can’t wait.

Our performances are getting better and the spirit is as good as its ever been. I think we can do this (despite reservations in team selection).

Crewe is where the title will be decided, I’ve been saying it for months.

McEnyee improving and getting back to his best ,just needed more game time.Hornby has done well since taking iver in goal and Asimwe is class, can cross and take on defenders,he seemed to play further up than Barratt, more like a winger

Is the momentum swinging back with us ? A point or a win Saturday and I think it might be ……

Lots of options for Saturday then.

After Saturdays huge game and tonight’s huge game, this Saturday feels even more huge

Avoid defeat and others around us drop points again and I’ll happily take that.

That’s just your opinion though.

Who is to say we couldn’t have won if he had come on ten minutes earlier.

Brining someone on with a score rate like DJ with 5 mins left in a desperate situation isn’t exactly rocket science, is it?

It was a good performance and a good point, I agree. 2 wins in 15 is still concerning, which ever way you look at it.

I don’t mind being called a clown for having an opinion. I’ve put enough time and miles into following Walsall in my life. If I stopped going tomorrow, I owe them nothing.

Did he say why Hall was out tonight ?

Stir form is pretty poor recently, unfortunately Jellis will miss the next two matches.

Surely Hall and Chang will start or be on the bench.

Wont be surprised if Comley start on Saturday.

Jellis won’t miss the next two games.

After second half Saturday and then tonight beginning to look like the team again from earlier in the season.
I think Stirk has been excellent for most of this season but like several players his form has dipped of late and was very poor tonight. He needs a spell out now but please not for Comley.

This is do able

Fail at home draw
Newport draw
Barrow draw
Harrogate at home win
Accrington at home win
Crewe lose

If we can do that then Doncaster need to win 5 out of 7
Wimbledon need to win 6 out of 6
Notts need to win 6 out of 7

It’s very much in our own hands

We also have a very good goal difference compared to our nearest rivals. We have scored 70 goals too …only Chesterfield have above 60!! Like COOKYSKID I am enjoying this exciting end to the season.

I have a feeling ticket sales for the rest of the week are going to be very healthy. Let’s hope for at least 7k Saddlers and get the place rocking. We can do this.

Great spirit and performance, a very good fourth division game. At 4.30 my missus just told me to go to the game…but I didn’t. Trying to be sensible money wise, then nearly Golden Gordoned (Barnstoneworth United clock style ) the tele through the front bay window when DJ scored which would have done about a grand more damage than the combined expense of actual attendance. Definitely a point gained and another gobby set of fans shut down…but with the nagging rider that a Hall or Chang option could have won it. A very enjoyeable evening.

Stirk needs resting he’s been poor for a while now and looked like he’s running through treacle in recent weeks(He’s never been the quickest anyway) would of took a point all day tonight so I’m happy enough with the result tonight but we really really need a win soon or we will be caught by the teams below us.
