Like the Sky commentator said, you’d rather get three draws this week over one win and two losses, should we avoid defeat on Saturday.
Play like we did tonight in the last six and we’ll get over the line.
Onto the next one.
Up the Saddlers.

Of course they will but it’s the wrong decision.wrong players for the Stirk role .
Be really good if we could start playing it from the back because we lost virtually every ball from a goal kick considering the size of levi and Matt
That was the best performance in a while, I would love us to sign Nathan, I have been really impressed with his contribution over the last few weeks.I think we may see a bit more of Hall in the home games. Well done lads
I’d feel confident if we could beat Vale.
We need a win so badly.
Sorry for Seppling mistakes out of it. See what I did there. Goodnight
I thought we did a much better job tonight though of getting to the second ball after that though which is arguably more important than Matt and Levi winning a flick on.
That was some game tonight! Could have gone either way but fair play to the lads for the spirit and fight.
Hard to criticise anyone but I thought only Stirk was the weak link. Constantly giving possession back to them and at fault for the second goal.
Let’s see what Chang can do against Vale.
Biggest game in years.
Bring it on!
Absolutely in awe of those that travelled proper support. Couldn’t make this one but watching in TV nearly “killed me off”… the supporters were top drawer, again from start to finish. That is a GREAT point and feel they performed much better again against another of the top sides, so hopeful we can raise our game and take 3 points off The Vile! Hopefully another massive crowd and every Saddler behind the lads from minute 1 until the end… not sure I will be able to focus on any work the rest of the week now … buzzing and off to get my Newport tickets tomorrow COYS
I love it too.
Whilst there would have been something almost surreal ( and totally un-Walsall) about us sailing away with the League and being promoted way before the end of the season this is much more like the Walsall I know and love.
I was gutted when they scored their second but absolutely elated with DJ scoring our equaliser.
Superb support tonight, with Donny not getting behind their team until they took the lead.
Best first 45 from us for a good while.
Great to see McCann fuming on the side-lines.
Another great occasion on Saturday - let’s get ourselves down there.
We hardly won anything from goal kicks it frustrated the hell out of me
I know some folk criticise any plaudits for the away support but those Saddlers that travelled tonight were awesome for the entire 90 mins
I wasn’t there but on TV the only singing to be heard was our lot
700+ on. Tuesday night is a great turnout
Well done all and safe journey home
I do love it, too.
Judging by the chest pains, my body doesn’t though!
Sorry him doing the one thing everyone single person in the world would have done when losing makes him good
Got ya
Yes fantastic spirit showed by the whole team ,brave selections by Sadler like you say Stirk was poor tonight pity the manager wasn’t brave enough to have the option of Chang on the bench feel it could have been a game changer.but hey that’s a great point and draw .and sets them back some really poor drawn games recently so makes a change to have a good one .
When the team was announced there was a lot of negativity but I thought let’s see what happens.
stirk was poor tonight but overall that was a good performance. We were much the better side. Those players gave it a bloody good go and deserved to win. I have to say our supporters were absolutely top drawer and I’m so proud to be among them.
DJ knows exactly where to be, that’s his game to pop up in those areas. Can see why he doesn’t get game time but he’s crucial when we are pushing for a winner/equaliser.
I.e. Sadler is utilising him exactly as he should be, and tonight is another example of that…
People making themselves look like clowns again I see…
A terrific point
The best we’ve played this year, our performances have improved of late, but need to win games as things are getting tight at the top.
Stirk was absolutely crap tonight and should be replaced by Chang against Port Vale on Saturday.
We defended well all night and had more to our attacking options. Asimwe puts in some superb crosses with either foot, we need to sign him permanently next season.
Great point after they went ahead very late in the game, along came DJ doing what he does best to tie the game up. Good contest!
