Doncaster Rovers (A) Tue April 1st, 7.45pm

Pretty much as I see it.
I’d expect Harrisson to start if fit.
I’ll be at this one, as the most local for me other than Grimsby, so hoping we find our form (as i always do).
A big night with Vale hosting Bradford, opportunity to get a bit more breathing room. :crossed_fingers:

We have won 2 in 14. We will need to play out of our skins to get anything. Heart says a 2-1 Saddlers win. Head says 2 nil defeat.

We are good at drawing of late. Another one tomorrow will do, but I have a sneaky feeling that we might win this, especially if Sads plays his hand well.

Don’t really care what side he selects as long as we have 11 competing players on the pitch for 90 minutes .to many times this season I see a team that seems 2 players short against the opposition right from kick off ,because of players being played out of position and not in there best roles .and then we wait to long to change things .Bradford away at Accrington 4 subs on at 57 mins at least trying to get the win .when it’s obvious it’s not working change it .be a bit braver and stop playing for a draw .

When was our last Tuesday night away win?

Port Vale, I think it was 2021 or 2022.

a draw tomorrow would be a good result and if we can back it up with our usual 3 points against vale we will have stopped 3 good teams making progress against us with 5 left to play .

come on you reds we’ve got this .

i’m parking on the sainsbury’s if anyone needs any suggestions - £3 on JustPark and about a 20 minute walk from the ground

If we win tomorrow and Bradford beat Vale, then we beat Vale on Saturday, we go 11 points ahead of them with 5 to play.

Huge if that happens.

You little tease :joy:

Too many posters for the past dozen games have been saying “if this happens” or “if that happens” then it will be ok. Guess what - it hasn’t happened!
We wont win. We aint going up. Sorry to be so negative but the Grimsby game did it for me.
UP THE SADDLERS

Still top though :man_shrugging:

Hate to agree with this but nothing, since the middle of January, gives me any confidence in winning enough games to complete the job. Our performances MUST be top drawer to get anything tomorrow and versus Vale.

I’ve read that book as well Football for Dummies

Considering the run we have been on it is crazy, but if we did win the next two games, we are almost there.

That is my best attempt at being positive at the moment though :joy:

I watched vale vs barrow and vale was absolutely shocking. We just need 7/8 out of 10s across the team to beat them.

This league twists and turns all the time.

Bradford were unstoppable for about nearly 3 months, now have 1 win in 4.

Colchester had a 14 game unbeaten run, now lost two in a row.

Port Vale couldn’t put wins together and now are on a decent run.

Wimbledon drop points every week.

For all the talk that we’ve been rubbish, i think we’ve only lost 2 in 11 and in most games, especially lately, i genuinely think we haven’t been that bad at all.

I don’t disagree.

Bradford away was shite, but the other away games since then we really should have won at least one.

The Cheltenham disaster and two poor home performances against Swindon and Grimsby at home being the most costly.

I’d prefer us to win and Vale to beat Bradford. Then we’d have a 4pt gap, before the compulsory win over Vale on Saturday.
