Great post matey. Looks like we were on the same flight. Saw some of the Walsall bsckroom staff on the way through security and had a quick chat to Gary Waddock.
Told him I enjoyed his interview and that we’d like to hear more from him. He asked me what I thought of the match and I didn’t know how to answer as I thought we were terrible. He just grinned and answered for me ‘it was a good work out wasn’t it?’ At I could agree with that!
We must have been on the same delayed flight. Originally scheduled for nine forty (ish) but rescheduled for 2250 even then we were stood on the stairs and eventually sat on the plane for quite a while.
The Irish fans I spoke to were complimentary of Trivela although I’m sure they were not speaking for the whole fanbase obviously.
I didn’t know about fans and players meeting up which was a shame as I would have loved to have been there.
A great experience in my opinion.

We just ended up at the same place wasn’t organised and I guess more walking by that heard the singing came in.
Yes mate, that’s the same flight that we were on. The joys of Ryan Air leaving us hanging and not informing us what was happening. It was getting to the point where I was expecting them to cancel the flight and we’d be in Dublin another night!

The last match of our season is against Dundalk, you couldn’t write it, will be absolute carnage at it!!
