Yeah, I was trying to be fair to him by including his entire Walsall career. He’s a different player to the one that joined in League One (and I preferred that hard working winger if I am being honest).
Could be even kinder and only include pre-Covid January to March spell where he scored 6 in 12 games over 977 minutes. That means if he played every minute of every league game he’d get 25 or 26 goals. He even scored more times than he was booked in that spell. We can forget the striker search.
The boy is on fire at the moment, simply unplayable. Glad he’s still out player and looking forward to seeing what Doug can do for us when he comes back. Confidence and playing regular football is doing him the world of good.
