Early Bird Season Tickets 24/25

This is exactly where I am at to be honest. It’s a point of diminishing returns, and I have reached mine. Fair play to those that do, and I really do applaud them, but this is where I get off (and I have a sneaky suspicion that is why they have been reopened completely at random).

I just hate the excuses. “Well if you take children it works out” could be the most egregious one, as if that just makes it ok to fleece anyone else. Not everyone has that option. Some people might like that option but it’s literally impossible. Some people don’t go to football just to take their children and have no intention of ever doing so.

I do get where you are coming from. I didn’t agree with the price rises either, especially last season when they went up so much and we were playing some of the worst football I have ever seen.

So I didn’t have one, and then we ended up going to every home game bar one. With the added benefit of priority for tickets, if we have any big games, it is worth it for us, but I didn’t feel good shelling out £445 and totally get why others wouldn’t bother.

Not sure if it’s been said but it wouldn’t be to bad an offer for league 1 football :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Everybody’s situation is different what 1 person finds expensive another will find it relatively cheap depending on circumstances.

Personally i find the prices relatively cheap considering the current economy the prices of everything are through the roof. £400 or £330 if sat in the lower. spread over 23 games watching something i have so much passion feels like value for money plus its great bonding time for me and the lad. I can easily go in the shop with me lad and spend a tenner on sweets for him.

I agree very much with what you say I think it also depends on at what stage in you life your at ,other interests, family commitment ,finances.so many variables.i think a good many of us have gone or will go through all these stages .probably missed the most important one out there loyalty and commitment .it can be for most the deciding factor considering the product over the last few years .I’ve been through all those stages ,and am were you are at the moment and happy to stay there .

Ours are actually similar to a lot in League one.

I’ll admit, I think that price is about right, but I couldn’t convince my friend to move, as we have sat in the upper for quite a while now. £400 for a discounted offer though is as much as most clubs charge full price, normally in the league above.

:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Maybe that will happen to me, I will attend, but I will mostly prioritise away games I think. Their more fun on the whole.

That’s a good idea, give the money to the opposition, they need it more than we do…

It’s my choice :man_shrugging: if we’re not going to give value I’ll give it to something that does. I’ve given plenty to this club over the years :+1:t3:

The club don’t seem to care about my money so why should I care about theirs.

I only mentioned it because you were complaining about paying £400/£17 per game and yet you’re happy to pay someone like FGR or Crawley and cost a lot more taking into consideration petrol, drink, food it adds up to a lot more than £17…:joy:

I think it is a tad expensive now mate for what standard of football we get served up everything seems to be like it though.

He doesn’t think it’s expensive though does he? He’s quite happy to pay Salford or FGR 2 or 3 times more to watch his beloved Saddlers than he would do if he went to a home game. Having said that, both Salford and FGR both have super stadiums with first class facilities :joy:

How do they get away with charging 2 or 3 times more than us. No wonder they get shit crowds

Maybe the enjoyment factor going to such games is better than the home games for some people. That being the case people are free to spend their hard earned as they wish. Fair play to the travelling support.

I only have a finite amount of spare cash so have to make weekly decisions. Hey ho!

It’s the total cost of an away day rather than paying to go to a home game.

I know
But the away team ay getting the train or beer money.

In fact, the only difference between going home or away for me is normally just the delta in transport costs, which might be a tenner or a score max.

Our season tickets are the 4th most expensive in this League just had a look if anyone wanted to know.
