Exeter City (H) Mar 7th, 3pm

Especially from the bench as Lavery back in the starting XI. As are Norman, Clarke, and Sinclair.

L.Roberts; Norman, Clarke, Scarr, Pring; McDonald, Guthrie, Sinclair, Holden; Gordon, Lavery

Substitutes: Rose; Sadler; Kinsella, Bates, Sheron, Nolan; Adebayo

Oh, and Roberts - so 5 changes altogether from the last game.

Marvellous

He’ll have too score those two goals quick

Facey must be injured.

I rate Clarke above Sadler.

Kinsella and Sinclair are the same player.

Lavery for Adebayo is the only contentious one for me.

Roberts? Proof that he was ill last game and not one of the crazy conspiracy theories.

Luke Pearce is out training on the pitch with the lads. Good management.

As a side note. Exeter don’t look the biggest of sides.

Clarke isn’t better than Sadler. We’ve improved with Sadler at the heart of the defence. Happy to eat my words but this seems a selection focused on nullifying the opposition rather than playing to our strengths.

I know we disagree on this  but I think Clarke is quicker and adds more of a presence at the back.

Not a massive difference, but I’d just take Clarke.

Again.

Also feel Scarr is twice the player with Sadler next to him. Truly baffling decision.

Not really baffling. Bit of an over the top description.

I think it’s quite attacking. I’m hoping he starts 4231 - think that has worked really well recently. Otherwise I assume it’s 442.

We start 4231 which is nice. Worked well last two home games in the second period.
