Really poor tonight.
Fleetwood are a very average team yet we’ve hardly troubled them.

We’ve built our entire success on the strength of the unit and square pegs in square holes and suddenly abandoned that approach.

Jellis is a key player so stick him in his best position - the partnership with Barrett causes massive problems. Trying to cover them both created space for Lowe.

Lakin back in midfield on the left and consider McEntee for Okagbue to freshen up the defence.

Disappointing - but well done to the fans that travelled to watch it.

If I’m being super positive, a couple of losses when we are way ahead and the window is still open might not be the worst thing in the world. It might just kick the club into action. If we’re still not going to bother using Johnson other than to bomb him on when we are really desperate a striker is needed and a midfielder, Jellis looked ragged tonight. We were poor at the back but I think the answers to that are already in the squad.

People don’t like being reminded of this, but since buying Walsall, Trivela have spent a lot of money buying other clubs. It’s time to spend a bit on this one, where it actually matters on the pitch, and make sure this club doesn’t throw away this brilliant season so far.

Centre halves at centre half, midfielders in midfield, strikers up front, right footed players on the right, left footed players on the left on Saturday please Sadler.

Poor poor and forgetful waisted 2 hours. Supporting a team that has no goals in them again.

That’s what I said before Xmas.
We’d avoided going on mini bad runs which happened last season. Whenever we lost a game we bounced back the next game. Now we’ve lost 2 in a row for the first time this season.

And these mediocre clowns have done the double on us.

Someone speaks sense. :+1:

Where has our Walsall gone?

We were: fast, determined, agile and hard working (a team)

Last 2 games we’ve looked: tired, slow, lacking energy (arguably lazy looking)

Matt says what sets us apart is we never give up and never know when we’re beaten - well sorry Matt but that has all of a sudden changed

I hope it’s a blip but it looks more than that based on the last 2 games

Not with our current batch of strikers available

Judah?

The “elbow in the back of the defender he can’t compete with aerially” is my least favourite.

Just need a bit of luck
