Former players - where are they now?

A wonderful first touch!!:man_facepalming::rofl:

Evans not having a great start to his return to Cheltenham!

For perspective, Morgan Whittaker would tear us to shreds, just as Morgan Rogers did for the Villa.

Sadler seems far more measured than Flynn but, for example, Alfreton Town had a cracking season last year and they have a proper ‘old school’ gaffer.

For all the doom mongers, I think that there are real signs that we have a plan and strategy: the most Important pieces of the jigsaw (i.e. the goalscorers) are often the last to be slotted in to the wider infrastructure.

Seen him play at Argyle when they beat Norwich 6-2. Unbelievable talent alongside Bali Mumba and Finn Azaz.

  • can’t believe Scrimshaw plays for Poole town now though - I thought he was half decent when he was with us.

A rich man’s Gordon

Scrimshaw played like a kid who’d just eaten 3 tubes of Smarties. But he isn’t the worst player we’ve ever had at the club.

He was badly advised to leave us part way thro his loan and join Newport.
He’d just scored the 2 against Vale.

Probably not, but my goodness, there is some stiff competition for that accolade.

Hmm, will have to wait and see if Evans makes it to the championship like Roberts, Scarr and Adebayo have.

Who all played under Clarke

Didn’t really look championship players under Clarke though

Decent chance of playing as they sadly lost their number one in a tragic accident in June.

Roberts always had loads of talent but lost his confidence badly in the relegation season and he had to be taken out of the side for his own good with fans getting on his back.

Surprise surprise five years on and it’s all come together nicely.

Adebayo’s goal record was good and he joined a championship club from here so not sure why he’s in the conversation.

As said above Roberts lost his confidence (under Keates) and was dropped for final four games for whoever the number two was. Then restored straight away as number one under Clarke who could’ve easily got in an experienced keeper considering the old crocks he was signing that summer.

Scarr is the one who’s totally proved me wrong. Always thought he was bang average at league 2 level but he went to a club on the rise and Plymouth playing a back 3 suits him rather than a back 4 so credit to him for thriving on that chance.
