It might be that he had a bad injury.

What an enigma he was. He came on loan from Mansfield and looked superb: fast and effective. Then we signed him and that was the end of it and he has been on a downward spiral ever since.

Kieran Phillips signed for Ross County from Huddersfield this week. He was on loan here for the first half of the 21/22 season.
